We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this request for stable blood pressure. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mothers’ wombs and sustains every beat of our hearts. Your Word tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Lord, we trust in Your design for the body and ask that You bring healing and balance to this situation.
We pray for peace and calm to replace any anxiety or stress that may be contributing to this condition, for Proverbs 14:30 reminds us, *"The life of the body is a heart at peace, but envy rots the bones."* May the mind and heart be guarded by Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or worry that may be weighing heavily, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Let this truth take root in the heart and mind, driving out all fear and replacing it with trust in You. We ask that You guide the hands of any medical professionals involved and give wisdom in managing this condition through diet, exercise, and rest. Remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 tells us: *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
Lord, we ask for complete healing and stability in this area. Strengthen the heart, regulate the blood pressure, and restore full health according to Your will. May this situation be an opportunity to draw closer to You, to seek Your face, and to trust in Your provision. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
