Lord why is this caller coming up blocked yet the caller id came up when I retrieved the message, yet I have it set so I don’t get private #s, so why is everything getting more confusing and complicated these days like our volitile weather. Please help in all of this Jesus stop all attacks of your enemies and help to rest well and wake soon when important calls come up. Was awakened by a warning of danger from Jesus. You are coming so soon to protect your servants Lord bring us your mighty protection by your mighty healing and blood covering and mighty miracles soon. Amen Is. 54:17

We join you in bringing this confusion and weariness before the Lord, and we hear your heart crying out for His peace and protection in the midst of so many small but unsettling complications.

We understand how frustrating it is when technology that should make life simpler instead brings confusion, like blocked calls still coming through and important calls being missed, and how that can feel like part of a larger pattern of volatility all around us. We are reminded that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as it is written in 1 Cor 14:33, and that we can cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. When things feel complicated and even the weather feels volatile, we remember that He is still sovereign over all creation and that even the winds and the sea obey Him, Matt 8:27. He invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer, and we cling to the promise in Phil 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we should let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also join you in thanking Jesus for His warning and for His nearness, and we agree with you for His mighty protection, healing and covering. You quoted Isa 54:17 and we stand on it with you, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh. We take comfort that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thess 3:3, and that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psa 91:1. He is our refuge and our fortress. He is coming soon and until then He keeps His servants under the shelter of His wings and under the covering of the blood of Jesus.

We pray together for restful sleep and for His help to wake when you need to, for He gives sleep to His beloved, Psa 127:2, and we can lie down and sleep in peace, for Yahweh alone makes us live in safety, Psa 4:8.

We pray now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You hear us when we call. Lord, we ask You to rebuke every attack of the enemy against Your servant and to let no weapon formed against them prosper. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your mighty protection and Your ministering angels. Calm every spirit of confusion and anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Help them to rest deeply and to wake with clarity and strength when important matters arise, and give them wisdom regarding these confusing calls and technology, that what is hidden would be made clear and what is unnecessary would be blocked according to Your will. Heal any weariness and grant mighty miracles as You will, and keep them in Your hand as we watch for the soon return of our Lord Jesus. We trust You to guard, to guide and to keep us until that day. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We hear how disorienting this has been for you, the blocked call that still showed up, the settings that don't seem to work the way they should, and that larger sense that things around you feel more volatile and confusing than they used to. It's understandable that would leave you on edge and make rest harder.

We also hear your heart to stay alert for important calls while still getting the sleep you need, and your longing to feel safe and covered after being awakened with a sense of danger.

One small practical step that sometimes helps when technology adds to the stress is to separate the two concerns for a night or two. You could check with your phone carrier about why a blocked number still left a message and how to make sure important calls can still come through, and then set a simple wind-down routine before bed so your mind has a chance to settle, lights low, phone on the setting you trust, and a brief prayer as you lie down. If broken sleep continues to wear on you, it is also wise to talk with your doctor alongside prayer, just to make sure you are supported.

Father, we bring our friend to You tonight. We ask for Your peace over their home, for deep and steady rest, and for wisdom with the calls and details that feel confusing. Keep them in Your care and help them wake refreshed and clear when they are needed. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your words lay open a wearied and watchful heart, perplexed by what seems small and yet presses heavily, a blocked call that will not show itself, a device set to refuse what is hidden, and still confusion entering in. You speak truly that the days seem more tangled and volatile, as changeable as the weather, and the soul is tempted to be anxious about many things. Have you not found, as many of the Lord's people have, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell yourself about it, and to keep the trouble confined within your own breast, brings no good. It is far better to tell the Lord about it, for there is no attribute more comforting to His children than Divine Sovereignty. We must learn to recognize and admire His hand in everything, and to trace that hand even in these lesser perplexities which disturb our rest.

You ask for protection and for rest, and you quote that precious word, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. The promise does not mean that no weapon shall be formed, nor that no tongue shall rise, but that none shall prosper against those who are in Christ. Divine interpositions still come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. How strikingly has God delivered His people, not always by miracle, but by wonder, by turning aside the purpose of the enemy, by hanging up a Haman that His chosen might be delivered. His divine Spirit still works, and He has said, He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

And concerning sleep, remember that sleep is the gift of God. We think we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which the Christian may enjoy, because the Lord watches over him. Yet there is also a holy wakefulness to which we are called, for we are not to sleep as do others, careless toward the things of God. To sleep in security under the shadow of His wing is one thing, to sleep in carelessness while sparks of eternity are flying is another. May the Lord grant you the one and keep you from the other, that you may rest in your bed as under His watch, and rise with faculties refreshed for His service, with a heart kept awake to prayer and to discernment.

Let us pray for you. O Lord our God, Thou Sovereign Architect who dost display Thy perfections in all Thy works, look upon Thy servant who is tossed with confusion and longing for quiet rest. Forgive all sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other, and cover this life with that precious blood. Let no weapon formed prosper, and rebuke every attack of the enemy. Grant the gift of sleep to Thy beloved, calm the anxious thoughts, and give wisdom concerning these hidden and troubling calls. Order all things according to Thy holy will, keep this servant waking when duty calls and resting when Thou givest rest, and let Thy mighty hand be a shield by day and by night until Thou comest to gather Thine own. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only refuge and hope. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer and the heaviness you are feeling. It is understandable to feel confused and weary when even small things like phone calls become complicated, and when the world around us feels volatile and unsettled. God sees that frustration and the deeper longing underneath it for peace, safety and clear rest.

Jesus speaks directly to that weariness when He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He does not call you to account to burden you further, but to take away your sins and place you in security. That rest is not only sleep at night, but a rest for the soul that God promises to His people even while we still face tribulation and confusion in this present life. This life is a place of struggle and correction, but God is faithful to be our protection through it and to bring us to His true rest in His time.

You quoted Isaiah 54:17, and it is a sure promise to hold onto, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. In Christ alone we have that covering and protection through His blood. He is near to His servants and He hears when you ask for His mighty protection, healing and help against the attacks of the enemy.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You. Thank You that salvation and protection are found in Him alone. We ask You to cover this dear one with the blood of Jesus and to keep them in Your mighty hand. Quiet their anxiety and confusion, and give wisdom about these troubling calls and daily cares. Grant deep and peaceful rest, and grace to wake at the right time for what is truly important. Guard their heart from fear after that warning in the night, and let Your perfect peace guard their mind. Show Your power to protect and to heal, and help them to find quiet moments away from the noise and confusion to seek You in prayer and to be renewed. I understand how unsettling it is when small confusions with phone calls and messages pile up and make life feel more complicated, especially when the world around us already feels volatile and unpredictable. It is understandable that this would leave you feeling on edge and tired, and wanting to rest well while also staying alert for important calls.

Scripture speaks of a rest that God has promised for His people, and that rest is entered by faith. It is not found by figuring out every detail or by trying harder in our own strength. Many try to find peace through their own efforts and understanding, but true rest comes only when we trust fully in what Jesus has already finished for us on the cross and cease from our own striving. That promise still stands, and God invites you to enter into it even now. To believe Him is to rest.

Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. When fear is allowed to take over, faith departs, and when faith is strong, fear must leave. Fear often grows when we forget the Lord and His nearness, and it can push us toward wrong reactions. Remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. His presence with you dispels fear, and His truth is your shield and protection against the attacks of the enemy. You do not need to hide or be driven by alarm. You can take wise and prudent steps in practical matters, like handling calls, without being motivated by fear.

The Lord is your place of shelter and strength. To dwell in the secret place of the Most High is to be under His covering. As you quoted, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that is His promise to His servants. He is your fortress and your deliverer from every snare.

I pray for you now that the Lord will quiet your heart and bring you into that deep rest that comes from trusting Him. May He guard your mind from confusion and anxiety, give you clear wisdom about the calls you need to receive, and grant you peaceful sleep and the ability to wake when you need to. May He cover you with the blood of Jesus, bring His healing and protection over you, and keep you in perfect peace as you keep your trust in Him.
