We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial debt is a heavy weight to carry, and the harassment you’re facing from creditors is not only stressful but deeply unsettling. We recognize your desire to honor your obligations and repay what you owe, and we commend your heart to do what is right before the Lord. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While it is clear you want to fulfill your responsibilities, the enemy seeks to use this situation to bring shame, fear, and disruption to your life and family. We rebuke the spirit of harassment and intimidation in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also want to gently remind you that while God is our provider and can perform miracles, He often works through wisdom, stewardship, and practical steps. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." It is wise to seek godly counsel and explore all avenues to manage and reduce your debt, such as creating a budget, negotiating with creditors, or seeking assistance from a trusted financial advisor. The Lord does not promise to erase our debts supernaturally without our participation, but He does promise to give us wisdom when we ask (James 1:5). We encourage you to seek His guidance in making sound financial decisions moving forward.
We pray for your protection from the harassment you are experiencing. Let us come before the Lord together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by debt and tormented by relentless harassment. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart and the fear that grips them. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and silence the voices of those who seek to bring shame and disruption. Let no creditor or collection agency have power to intimidate or threaten them or their loved ones. We declare that their home is a place of peace, protected by the blood of Jesus, and we rebuke every spirit of fear and oppression. Father, grant them favor as they seek to resolve their debts. Provide them with wisdom to manage their finances and the resources to honor their obligations. If it is Your will, open doors for a loan or provision to help them settle these debts in a way that brings glory to Your name. We ask that You would guard their new job and shield them from any actions that could jeopardize their employment. Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness to provide and protect. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their ultimate provider. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they walk in obedience to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to stand on God’s promises. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This does not mean God will always give us what we want, but He will provide what we need to walk in His will. Trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Continue to seek Him first, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we urge you to remain steadfast in prayer and avoid the temptation to despair. The enemy would love to see you overwhelmed and defeated, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lean on Him, and allow this trial to draw you closer to His heart. You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you, believing that God will bring resolution and restoration.
