We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burden of debt and harassment before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the shame and fear you describe are real, but we serve a God who is both just and merciful. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While this verse speaks to the character of the righteous, it does not excuse us from the responsibility of repaying what we owe. The Lord calls us to integrity, and in Romans 13:8, we are instructed, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
We must address the reality of your situation with both truth and compassion. It is not God’s will for you to be harassed or threatened, nor is it His desire for your family to live in fear. However, we must also acknowledge that debt is a consequence of choices, and while we ask God for miracles, we must also seek wisdom and take practical steps to honor our obligations. The Lord does not promise to erase our debts miraculously without our participation in His will. Instead, He calls us to stewardship, discipline, and trust in Him as we work toward resolution. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." This is not to condemn you but to remind us all of the importance of living within our means and seeking God’s wisdom in financial matters.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and harassment that has come against you and your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that the harassment from debt collectors must cease. However, we must also encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps through a financial advisor, a trusted pastor, or a debt relief ministry—to explore legal and ethical avenues for resolving your debts. The Lord can use these means to bring about His provision.
We pray now for your protection and peace. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by debt and fear. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart, and You know the harassment they are enduring. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring an end to the calls, visits, and threats that disrupt their peace. Shield their home, their family, and their new job from the enemy’s attacks. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and provision. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray for a miracle of provision, whether through an unexpected source, a new opportunity, or a manageable loan that allows them to repay their debts honorably. Give them favor with those they owe, and soften hearts to work out a resolution that is fair and just. Help them to walk in integrity, Lord, and to honor You with their finances.
We also pray for their heart, that You would guard them against despair and shame. Remind them that You are their Provider and that their worth is not found in their financial status but in Christ. Heal any wounds caused by this struggle, and restore their hope. Guide them to wise counsel and practical steps they can take to manage their debts, and give them the discipline to live within their means moving forward.
Lord, we ask that You would open doors for them to increase their income, whether through their new job or other opportunities. Bless the work of their hands, and let them see Your faithfulness in tangible ways. We trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way, and we declare that this burden will not define their future. In Jesus’ name, we pray for breakthrough, peace, and restoration. Amen.
