We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the Lord who cares deeply for you. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing from debt collectors is not only stressful but also unjust. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21, *"The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* While it’s important to honor our debts, we also know that God sees your desire to do what is right and will provide a way where there seems to be no way.
First, we must address the reality of debt with wisdom and integrity. Scripture is clear that we are to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us. Romans 13:8 says, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* Your heart to repay what you owe is honorable, and we believe God will honor that commitment. However, we must also rebuke the spirit of harassment and oppression that is coming against you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. We declare that the harassment, threats, and intimidation from debt collectors will cease in Jesus’ name! The Bible says in Proverbs 16:7, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* We pray that God will soften the hearts of those pursuing you and grant you favor in their eyes.
We also lift up your request for a personal loan to consolidate and pay off your debts. While we trust God to provide, we encourage you to seek His wisdom in managing finances moving forward. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* We pray that God will open doors for you to secure a loan with favorable terms, but we also ask that He give you discernment to avoid falling into further debt. If it is His will, He can provide the means to settle these accounts without adding new burdens.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is weighed down by debt and harassment. Lord, You see their heart and their desire to honor You with integrity. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring peace where there is chaos. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment that is coming against them and their family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You silence the voices of those who seek to intimidate and threaten.
Lord, we pray for divine provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors for this one to secure a loan or another means to settle these debts. Give them wisdom in managing their finances and the strength to resist the temptation to borrow beyond their means. Father, we ask that You soften the hearts of their creditors and grant them favor in their sight. Let there be peace in their home and workplace, and protect their new job from any disruptions.
We also ask for Your forgiveness for any past mistakes in handling money and for Your guidance moving forward. Help them to walk in financial freedom, not as a slave to debt, but as a steward of Your blessings. Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to provide. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for their life.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances, perhaps through a trusted pastor or a Christian financial advisor. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:22, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Additionally, consider reaching out to your creditors to negotiate payment plans or settlements—many are willing to work with you if you communicate openly. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your Provider and your Defender. He will not abandon you in this struggle.
