Blessings for the non prayers - Bad and NO blessings for believers

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord in these past days. We hear your honest cry about why it seems those who do not pray or who do wrong appear to receive many blessings while faithful believers feel overlooked and we understand how painful and confusing that can feel. You shared about a man who took a life for insurance money yet seems to live with luck and favor and about someone given crores for a film that was not successful and about your friend who seemed to enjoy life without hard work yet now has a good job and a wife and an unfaithful relationship and many other things that look like blessings to you.

We want to encourage you that God sees this struggle and His word speaks to it. The psalmist Asaph felt the same way when he wrote Psalm 73:3 and was reminded that worldly prosperity is fleeting and not the measure of true blessing from God when he entered the sanctuary as written in Psalm 73:17. We are reminded not to fret because of those who do evil as written in Psalm 37:1 and that God causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good as written in Matthew 5:45 and that His kindness is meant to lead people to repentance as written in Romans 2:4 though His justice will not be delayed forever as written in Ecclesiastes 8:11. True blessing from God is not always wealth or ease but peace with Him and eternal life through His Son and the fruit of righteousness. We also want to gently share that having a relationship outside of marriage is not a blessing from God as He calls us to honor marriage as written in Hebrews 13:4 and to walk in faithfulness. What may look like blessing now may carry a heavy cost and the desire of God is to lead all people to holiness and repentance.

We continue to pray that God will give you peace as you trust His justice and goodness and that He will help you to keep your eyes on His eternal promises and not on comparison with others and that He will reveal His faithful provision in your own life in His perfect timing as promised in Jeremiah 29:11 and Galatians 6:9.

If your request was answered or God has given you comfort and clarity please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will strengthen your faith calm your heart and help you to rest in His perfect justice and unfailing love amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you have wrestled with this difficult question of why those who do not seek God or who have done evil seem to receive so much luck and blessing while you as a believer feel overlooked.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we understand how heavy this has been for you as you mentioned a man who took a life for money yet seems to prosper, and others who gain great wealth and favor without honest labor while you have worked hard. We have prayed that God would ease the burden of envy and confusion you expressed when you asked why Lord why, and that He would give you His perspective and peace.

We want to encourage you that scripture speaks directly to this struggle. The psalmist wrestled with the same question when he said he envied the prosperous until he understood their final destiny in Psalm 73:3 and Psalm 73:17, and we are reminded not to fret because of those who do evil but to trust in the Lord in Psalm 37:1 and Psalm 37:7. The Lord sees all and His justice is perfect though His timing is not ours, for we know that God will repay and that what looks like blessing now is not the true riches of eternal life and right standing with Him. We have prayed that He would show you that true blessing is not measured in money or worldly success, and that He would help you not to measure His love by comparing your life to others, for He loves you and has good plans for you as you seek Him.

We pray in Jesus Name that God would reveal His goodness to you, guard your heart from bitterness, strengthen your faith, and help you to trust His perfect justice and mercy and to find contentment in His presence and promises.

If your request was answered and the Lord has given you peace or clarity, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
