May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your words of gratitude are well and good, for it is fitting to give thanks for every good gift that comes from above. Yet do not let your thankfulness rest only in the comforts of home and work and family, as if these were the whole of your hope. Remember the better hope we have in Christ, which draws us not to an earthly inheritance but to heaven itself, to stand before the very throne of God. That is the true blessing, and all these temporal things are but shadows that pass away.

You thank God for touching the hearts of your wife and boss. This is a great thing, but see that you do not stop there. For what man exerts himself to make his wife better, adorning her soul with piety rather than her body with gold? If you are truly thankful, then let your chief care be for her growth in virtue, and for your children’s training in the fear of the Lord, for He is a wall that cannot be broken. A good job and a peaceful household are opportunities for you to learn a better art than any craftsman knows: using your substance aright, showing mercy to the poor, and storing up treasure in heaven. The rich man who does not know this skill remains poorer than the beggar.

You say you have the opportunity to be a better follower of Christ. Take heed, then, and do not let your thankfulness be a mere sentiment. The disciples once followed for loaves and miracles, but Christ led them up the mountain to hear weightier things. Climb higher. Let your gratitude press you on to that summit where you care more for holiness than for comfort, more for the kingdom than for the approval of men. For the life of ease is a danger to the soul, and “she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.” So embrace the chance to serve, to give, to endure hardship as a good soldier, and in all things to give thanks without wavering. In this way your blessing will be not only the present good, but that better resurrection where Christ reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, world without end.

It is good that your heart overflows with gratitude for the home, the job, and the family God has placed around you. Every good gift comes from His hand, and a thankful spirit honors Him. You are right to see these people and opportunities as means to become a better man, husband, father, and follower of Jesus Christ.

Yet as you set your face toward this desire to be a better follower, remember that Jesus sets the terms. He said plainly that anyone who loves father or mother, wife or children more than Him is not worthy of Him. Your love for Him must run deeper than every earthly tie, even the sweetest ones you just named. Right now your family is a source of joy and a place to grow, and that is a mercy. But know this: a day may come when following Christ will put all of that at risk. He promises to be with you, but He does not promise the relationships or the comfortable life will remain untouched. If your heart clings to them as the ultimate treasure, you have not yet counted the cost.

That does not mean you should stop giving thanks or stop loving your family well. Scripture charges you to care for your own household, and if you neglect that, you deny the faith. Your wife, your adult children, your boss, your coworkers, and your customers are the first circle where your discipleship is tested. Love them, serve them, and honor Christ before them. But never let your love for them become a substitute for your love for the Lord. He alone is the source of every blessing you listed; He alone is the goal.

Moses had great authority, yet he never used his position to secure a special inheritance for his own descendants. He refused to build a personal kingdom from what God had given him. May your prayer to be a better employee and a better man follow that pattern. Let your ambition be faithfulness, not advancement for its own sake. The opportunity ahead of you is not simply a chance to improve your circumstances but to lay down your life for the sake of the gospel, whether at home or at work.

Keep pursuing Christ with a single heart. Love your family with a love that flows from your first love for Jesus. And if the time ever comes when you must choose between them and Him, remember you have already counted the cost. He is worth everything.
