We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
Heavenly Father, we first pray for your healing touch upon this dear sister. The Word tells us, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). Lord, we ask that You would heal her cough and restore her to full health, that she may care for herself and her little one with strength and vitality. We also pray for the protection of this precious baby, that no harm or illness would come upon this child. "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). Father, we ask that You would surround this baby with Your heavenly hosts, shielding this little one from all sickness and harm.
We lift up the concern about the placenta, Lord. Your Word declares, "You knit me together in my mother’s womb" (Psalm 139:13). We trust in Your perfect design and ask that You would guide the placement of the placenta according to Your will. If it is Your plan for it to move, we pray that You would make the way clear and protect both mother and child from any complications. We declare that this pregnancy will be filled with Your peace and that You will bring forth a healthy baby girl in Your perfect timing.
Father, we also come against the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be manifesting through bad dreams. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy in this sister’s life and cancel every bad dream in the name of Jesus. We declare that she will not be afraid, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that she would rest in Your peace, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we thank You for the trust this sister has placed in You, laying all her worries at Your feet. We encourage her to continue casting all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Protector, and Provider. Amen.
May this sister be encouraged to draw near to God, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer her prayers according to His will. We stand with her in faith, believing that God will bring forth a testimony of His goodness and mercy in this season of her life.
