Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for grace to share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1, let it become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31, and make disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to lift up our patriarchal and matriarchal figures—those fathers and mothers in the faith who have guided, nurtured, and set godly examples before us. Your request resonates deeply with the Word of God, for Scripture commands us to honor our fathers and mothers, that it may go well with us and that we may live long in the land the Lord our God has given us (Ephesians 6:2-3). We stand in agreement with your prayer, asking the Lord to pour out His blessings, grace, and favor upon these spiritual parents.

Father, we thank You for the grace You have given them to hear Your Word and to share it with others (Mark 4:33). We ask that You would continue to open their hearts and minds to receive fresh revelations of Your truth, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Strengthen them in every area of life—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and temporally—so that they may prosper even as their souls prosper (3 John 1:2). Lord, we pray that You would establish them in the foundational doctrines of the faith (Hebrews 6:1-3) and lead them into maturity, rooted and grounded in love, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith (Ephesians 3:16-19).

We ask that You would open the eyes of their understanding by the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17-18), that they may crave the sincere milk of Your Word and grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2). Move them from milk to solid food, that they may become teachers and examples of Your truth (1 Corinthians 3:2). Let Your Word spread rapidly and be glorified through their lives (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and may they not only hear but also do what it says, bearing fruit in every good work (James 1:22).

Lord, we pray for protection over them—from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Rebuke and restrain evil people and the devil himself, that these patriarchs and matriarchs may walk in peace and safety (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17), and wash them with the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26). Keep them in the world but guard them from the evil one (John 17:15), that they may be lights in the darkness and bear witness to Your love and power.

We also lift up their neighbors and those they seek to love, asking that You would soften hearts and draw them to Yourself. Grant these spiritual parents the grace to love as You have loved, even those who may oppose them (Luke 6:27). May peace reign within their homes and communities (Psalm 122:7), and may they be instruments of Your peace in a world that so desperately needs it.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for these leaders. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May their lives be a testament to Your goodness, and may they continue to make disciples, teaching them to observe all that You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Let their joy be complete as they abide in You and Your Word abides in them (John 15:7-8, 24).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and made whole. May these patriarchs and matriarchs know the fullness of life that comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus, and may they lead others into that same saving knowledge.

Lord, we commit these requests to You, trusting that You will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they continue to be a blessing to the body of Christ and to the world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
