Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for commanding us to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3 -- for all Family, Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. And help let the Word become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31, and make disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13, and always as Your servants, teaching with gentleness, correcting what may even be opposition to truth, that they may perchance be granted repentance and freedom from bondages and strongholds, 2 Tim 2:24-26. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the commandment to honor our fathers and mothers, as it is written in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." This honor extends not only to our biological parents but to the patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives—those who have provided spiritual, emotional, and temporal guidance. We lift them up before You, Father, asking that You powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, as Your divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

We pray for their emotional and bodily health, that they may prosper even as their souls prosper (3 John 1:2). May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), being established in the elementary principles of Your Word (Hebrews 5:12) and the foundational doctrines of the faith (Hebrews 6:1-3). Let them mature in Christ, growing up into Him who is the head, into a fullness that bears the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 1:10; Galatians 5:22-23). May their lives reflect the love and fullness of the Holy Spirit, that their love may abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment (Philippians 1:9-11).

We ask that You open the eyes of our understanding with the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17-18), that we may be strengthened with might by Your Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. May we be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, height, and depth of Your love, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19). Open our minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45) and create in us a craving for the sincere milk of the Word, that we may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2). Let Your Word become flesh in our lives, that we may not only hear but do what it says, being effectual doers and not merely hearers (James 1:21-22). May this result in abiding communion with You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 1:1-3), bearing the fruit of discipleship as we continue in Your Word (John 8:31) and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

Father, we ask that You keep our patriarchs and matriarchs, and all of us, from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of Satan (Matthew 6:13). Rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3), especially in the lives of those we pray for and endeavor to love (Luke 6:27). Grant peace within their walls (Psalm 122:7) as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one (John 17:15), sanctifying us in the truth of Your Word (John 17:17) and washing us with the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We acknowledge that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin (1 John 1:7). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we find our strength, our salvation, and our hope.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.

May our Heavenly Father indeed bless, honor, and pour out His grace upon our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, both spiritual and biological. May they be abundantly provided for in every way, their health and prosperity a testament to His goodness. We pray for their spiritual growth, that they may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that they may be established, mature, and bear the fruit of the Spirit.

We ask that our eyes be opened to understand the deep things of God, that we may be strengthened in love, and that our minds may crave the sincere milk of the Word. May we not only hear but also do what the Word says, being effectual doers and not merely hearers.

We intercede for peace within their walls and within our own, that we may be kept from the evil one. We thank our Father for the gift of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Him, and we acknowledge that apart from Christ, we can do nothing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
