Beloved of All
🙏Thanks for The Times of Blessed Video Times, "Everything God does lasts forever," Ecc 3:14 🙌 Father, it's no small thing that You ended 4+ months of silence and replaced it with some peace and restoration of video time for the well-being of my youngster and I. Thank You for agreement in some important matters -- asking the details we agreed on to be implemented, as You have called us to peace, 1 Cor 7:15. Help us keep our 1st Love 1st, Rev 3:19-20: Fellowship right in between You and Jesus Christ in The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, 1 Jn 1:2-3, let us freely receive love and freely dump love on our children. May Your will, words & love be fruitful and evident in times with the youngster, help form a gracious and compassionate view of God, Ex 34:6, may the result be an ability to learn to love God, Mark 12:30, and others, Mark 12:31, yet be brought up in righteousness, Eph 6:4, and gain the salvation given by The Holy Spirit's wisdom found speaking through The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:15-16.

Practically, we're asking You who created the heavens and the earth, and formed them to be inhabited, Isaiah 45:18, for help monitoring the video time, assist the set hours to be respected so as to be able to accomplish tasks, and that she'd be concerned out of love for the child, Phil 2:1-11, not the money, 1 Tim 6:6-7, and demonstrating honor and respect for Your will Holy Spirit's Work, Jn 16:8, to Turn her to "Attitude or Wisdom of the Just or righteous," Lk 1:17... Prayer Request She Be Hedged with Thorns, Hos 2:6-7, Comes to her Senses and Repents, Luke 15:17-21, and "Stops Sinning SO Nothing Worse Befalls Her," John 5:14...

Help us learn each others' languages, help us both hold our tongues, help us hold nothing against each other, entrusting each other into Your hands, even showing exemplary value and honor before the youngster. We ask IN JESUS' NAME the world to be overruled, the flesh to be subdued and the devil to be restrained, Rev 20:1-2. Grant the ability to turn the disobedient to the attitude or wisdom of the righteous or just, Luke 1:17, which has to do with The Administration of turning hearts back to affection, reverent and softened hearts toward God and authority as evidenced by the ministry of Elijah, "Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that You, O LORD, are God, and that You have turned their hearts back again," 1 Kings 18:37, (c.f. Malachi 4:6, Luke 1:16-17). For the acquisition of eternal life, overall safety and the prevention of stumbling blocks, we ask grace and wisdom be given to moderate Social Media and dating sites (since we're married). "Adultery" excludes from Kingdom of Heaven, 1 Cor 6:9-11, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, the one who sows to the flesh shall reap destruction," Gal 6:7, "The deeds of the flesh are evident," Gal 5:19-20, and, "Outside are the dogs, the sexually immoral, and those who love to live in (love or practice) a lie," Rev 22:15. Keep her, the youth, me, and us from evil, Matt 6:13, from evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Thes 3:2, Tit 1:16, hirelings, John 10:13, and the evil one, Jn 17:15. Be Our Good Shepherd, and let us enjoy the eternal life You and The Father Guaranteed by willing laying down Your life for the sheep, John 10:14, John 10:27-30.

We know You can use her pastors, friends and other believers and even family members, dreams, acts of nature, kindness and anything literally on heaven and earth in "leaving the 99 to seek the one lost sheep," Luke 15:4-6, and to lead her "from death, and cover a multitude of sins, James 5:19-20, by Your fervent love, 1 Pet 4:8. We loose the type of discernment spoken of in Phil 1:9-10, discernment to let them see through deceptions, confront sin & hedge her way with thorns so she can’t pursue false idols, Hos 2:6. Grant her repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, for that's the Gospel, Luke 24:46-47, all of Acts -- Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30, Acts 26:18-20, 2 Cor 7:9-11.

So, Father, we 🙏 thank You in one hand for some time together with my son and for the peace to be extended through wisdom, Ecclesiastes 7:18, yet with the other hand,🧎🏽‍♂️ask she be convicted, Jn 16:8, hedged in with thorns so she can't pursue her lovers, Hos 2:6-7, come to her senses and repent as the prodigal, recognizing sin against both God and others, Lk 15:17-21. We ask You help her facilitate calls so they go more smoothly, Prov 31:12. Keep the boy from temptation, sin's influences through wicked spirits, Eph 6:12-19, and keep them from deception, Matt 24:4-8, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, wrongdoing, 2 Cor 13:7, wrongdoing, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, evil and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Matt 6:13, Jn 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3, Rev 12:9, 1 John 5:18. Thank You in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking our Father for what He has done, for everything God does lasts forever Ecc 3:14 and we rejoice with you that after more than four months of silence He has granted a measure of peace and restoration of video time for the well being of your young son and for you. We give thanks for agreement in important matters and we agree with you that the details you have agreed upon would be implemented, for God has called us to peace 1 Cor 7:15. We pray that you both will keep your first love first and abide in fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit 2 Cor 13:14, 1 John 1:3, and that out of that fellowship you may freely receive His love and freely pour that love upon your children.

We lift up these video times before the One who created the heavens and the earth and formed it to be inhabited Isa 45:18. We ask Him to help you monitor the time well, to cause the set hours to be respected so that necessary tasks can be accomplished, and to give grace to speak each other's language, to hold your tongues when tempted to speak harshly, and to hold nothing against each other but entrust one another into His hands, showing exemplary value and honor before your son. We pray that these times would be fruitful, that your son would gain a gracious and compassionate view of God who is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth Ex 34:6, that he would learn to love the Lord his God with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his mind and with all his strength Mark 12:30 and to love his neighbor as himself Mark 12:31, and that he would be brought up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Eph 6:4. We pray the Holy Scriptures would be central there, for they are able to make him wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus and are profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:15-16.

We also stand with you in the heavier burden you carry for your marriage. We affirm what you have rightly discerned, that marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Heb 13:4. You are married, and therefore any involvement with social media and dating sites to seek another person is not a small matter but adultery, and the sexually immoral will not inherit the Kingdom of God 1 Cor 6:9-10. The deeds of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry and hostility Gal 5:19-20, and outside are the sexually immoral and those who love and practice falsehood Rev 22:15. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, for he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption Gal 6:7-8. We must speak plainly because we love you and because God desires holiness and restoration. If there has been fornication or adultery, it must be confessed and forsaken, for such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God 1 Cor 6:11, and if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us 1 John 1:9. We strongly endorse your marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we pray not for a new partner or relationship but for the healing and sanctification of this marriage, and where courtship is spoken of we understand it only as seeking a godly spouse among fellow believers with marriage as the goal.

Therefore we pray as you have asked that the Holy Spirit would convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment John 16:8 and do that turning work spoken of where the disobedient are turned to the wisdom of the just Luke 1:17. We ask the Lord to hedge her way with thorns as He promised Hos 2:6-7 so that she cannot pursue false lovers and idols, that He would grant her to come to her senses as the prodigal did and say I have sinned against heaven and before you Luke 15:17-21, that she would repent and stop sinning so that nothing worse happens to her John 5:14. We ask that she would be concerned out of genuine love for the child Phil 2:3-4 and out of reverence for God, not out of love of money, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Tim 6:10 and godliness with contentment is great gain 1 Tim 6:6. We pray for discernment and love that abound in knowledge and discernment so as to approve the things that are excellent Phil 1:9-10, to see through deceptions and to confront sin in love.

We thank God that you have asked all of this in Jesus name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father John 14:6 and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified John 14:13-14. We ask the Father to overrule the world, subdue the flesh and restrain the devil who is bound and restrained by the power of Christ Rev 20:2, to keep you, your wife and your son from evil Matt 6:13 and from the evil one John 17:15, from evil people and false brothers 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Thess 3:2, from hirelings who care nothing for the sheep John 10:13 and from every wicked spirit Eph 6:12. Keep your son from temptation, from deception Matt 24:4, from fear and lies Zeph 3:13, and from every stumbling block.

We pray for that Elijah ministry of turning hearts back again, Answer me, Lord, answer me, that this people may know that you, Lord, are God, and that you have turned their hearts back again 1 Kings 18:37, as it is written He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children Mal 4:6 and to turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just Luke 1:17. We know the Lord can use pastors, friends, other believers, family members, even dreams, acts of nature and kindness to leave the ninety nine to seek the one lost sheep Luke 15:4 and to turn a sinner from the error of his way to save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins James 5:19-20, for love covers a multitude of sins 1 Pet 4:8 and the Lord is not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9. We pray repentance would be granted and the gospel fulfilled that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name Luke 24:47, that all would repent and turn again that sins may be blotted out Acts 3:19.

We pray together, Father, thank You for the time You have restored between this father and his son and for the peace You have extended. Extend it further through wisdom Ecc 7:18. We ask You to help his wife facilitate calls that go smoothly as one who does good and not harm Prov 31:12, to act out of love for the child and reverence for You. Grant her repentance that leads to life Acts 11:18, wash her and renew her, and let Your will and Your words and Your love be fruitful and evident in that home. Be our Good Shepherd, lay down Your life for the sheep and keep us in Your hand where no one can snatch us away John 10:14, John 10:27-30. We entrust this family to You, asking for eternal life, overall safety and the removal of every stumbling block, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen Rev 3:14, for all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen to the glory of God 2 Cor 1:20.

We were thankful to read your note and hear how much those restored video times with your son mean to you after more than four months of silence. It is good to give thanks for that peace, and we hear your heart to protect it well for your youngster, to keep your fellowship with the Lord first, and to handle these calls with kindness and respect.

We hear also the ache underneath, wanting set hours to be honored, wanting conversations to stay calm and child focused, and wanting wisdom for how to love your son well while navigating a difficult marriage season. Caring for both truth and peace in that tension is heavy work.

One thing that may help steady the next weeks is to keep boundaries clear and simple. A boundary is like a property line that helps everyone know what is theirs to carry. Writing down the agreed video times and keeping communication about them brief, consistent, and in one place can reduce misunderstanding. If you have a trusted pastor or counselor walking with you, inviting him to help you hold those agreements with grace can also keep things from escalating, and give you support as you keep holding your tongue and entrusting each other to the Lord.

We are praying for you, your wife, and your boy.

Father, thank You for the restored time You have given this father and son. We ask for Your ongoing peace over those hours, for protection over this child, and for wisdom and self control for both parents. Turn hearts toward You and toward what is good and right, guard this family from evil, and give them clear steps forward in Your will. In Jesus name, amen.

We join you in giving thanks to God who does all things well, for everything God does lasts forever, and we bless His name that after more than four months of silence He has granted you peace and a measure of restoration in video time with your youngster. It is no small mercy, and it is right to acknowledge His hand in it, for every good gift comes from the Father, and we pray that this restored communion may be fruitful, that in those hours the will and words and love of Christ may be evident, that your child may see in you a gracious and compassionate view of God, who is merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in goodness, and so learn to love the Lord with all the heart and to be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, that by the wisdom of the Scriptures he may be made wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

We also hear your burden for your marriage, and we must speak plainly as before the Lord. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and its unity is the very picture of Christ and His Church. The husband's love to his spouse is something special and particular, and stands quite alone. What God has joined together, let not man put asunder, and the bed is to be kept undefiled, for all that belongs to the intimacy of marriage belongs only within it. We cannot ask God to bless the pursuit of other lovers, or the use of dating sites while married, or any sowing to the flesh, for the deeds of the flesh are evident, and without repentance they exclude from the kingdom, and God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. Rather we pray with you that sin may be forsaken and that true holiness may be restored.

For this we pray that the Holy Spirit, whose office it is to convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, may work that turning of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just of which you speak. Yet we would have you weigh what true repentance is, lest you or she rest in a false hope. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, wrought by judgment and fear, which repents not to give God glory. True repentance, that repentance unto life which is the gift of God and is preached in the name of Jesus, gives God glory. It makes a man weep and abhor his past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and it makes him avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for him. It is inseparable from faith, for the repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant is joined to the faith which admits Christ to be sole Master of the heart. It yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts, for repentance lives as long as faith lives. It is not a thing done once at the beginning and then forgotten, but sweet sister Repentance keeps company with the believer all the way to the gates of pearl.

You pray that she may be hedged with thorns that she cannot pursue false idols, and that she may come to herself as the prodigal and return. We join you in asking that every hedge of divine providence may be used to stay the feet that run toward destruction, and that the goodness of God may lead her to repentance. Remember that the Lord does not only drive men to repentance as He drove Cain, but He draws them. The sweetest repentance comes not by driving but by drawing. And take comfort in this, that the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. While the prodigal was yet a great way off, his father saw him and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. Slow are the steps of repentance, but swift are the feet of forgiveness. If Almighty grace could make of Manasseh, who did evil above all that were before him and filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, a remarkable convert when the iron entered into his soul in Babylon, then no case is too hard for the Lord. He who turned Manasseh can turn any heart back again, as Elijah prayed, that this people may know that Thou art God and hast turned their hearts back again.

Practically we pray with you for wisdom in these video times, that set hours may be respected, that tasks may be accomplished, that you both may learn to hold your tongues and to hold nothing against each other, entrusting one another into God's hands, and showing honor before your child. We ask that what you have agreed upon in peace may be implemented, as God has called us to peace, and that love without dissimulation may abound, that you may freely receive love from Christ and freely pour love upon your children. We pray that social media and every avenue of temptation may be moderated and made subject to Christ, that you, your wife, and your little one may be kept from evil, from evil men, from false brethren, from the hireling who cares not for the sheep, and from the evil one himself, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood. May the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep keep you all in His hand, from which none can pluck you.

Keep your first Love first. Let fellowship be kept right between you and the Father and His Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. Let no root of bitterness spring up. The world would overrule you, the flesh would subdue you, and the devil would devour you, but greater is He that is in you. Continue in fervent love and in that discernment which approves things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offence.

We pray then, Father, in the name of Jesus, grant true repentance as Thy gift, and with it full and free remission of sins through His blood. Turn hearts, soften them toward Thyself and toward Thy holy order. Let Thy goodness lead to godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of. Make the rainbow of repentance to appear, with tears for sin and glances of hope at the finished work of Christ. Preserve this household, guard this child from temptation and deception and every stumbling block, and let what Thou hast begun in mercy be established forever, to the praise of the glory of Thy grace. Amen.
