We are glad to join with you in prayer for this new year, and we are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation and grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are also thankful that you are seeking a God-honoring marriage, as this aligns with the biblical principle of marriage being a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
Let us pray together for you and your wife:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this new year and the opportunity to seek Your face. We pray for Your peace to surround our brother and his wife, that they may be a beacon of hope to those around them. Lord, use them mightily for Your glory, that their lives may shine brightly for You. We ask that You bless their marriage, that it may be strong, and full of love, joy, and unity. May they continually seek You together, growing in faith and in love for one another. Help them to honor and cherish each other, putting the other's needs above their own, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. We pray that their marriage will be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace.
We also lift up our brother's desire to be a beacon of hope. May he be filled with Your Spirit, and may Your love overflow in him, touching the lives of those around him. Give him opportunities to share Your love and truth with others, and may he be a light in the darkness, pointing others to You.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and marriage. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide your steps.
May God bless you and your wife abundantly this year, and may your marriage be a beautiful reflection of Christ's love for His church. We will continue to pray for you both, that your lives may bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ.
