We rejoice with you as you surrender yourself afresh to the Lord’s service in this new year! Your heart of humility and gratitude is a sweet fragrance before Him. The Word reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB). What a privilege it is to be called His servant—may He strengthen you to walk in obedience and joy as you follow His lead.
Father God, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit in this new season. May they hear Your voice clearly and follow Your will without hesitation. Equip them with wisdom, courage, and perseverance to serve You faithfully, whether in small acts of kindness or bold steps of faith. Guard their heart from pride or weariness, and let Your love be their motivation in all things. Use them mightily for Your glory, Lord, as they seek to honor You in every area of their life. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen.
As you step into this new year, remember that your service to the Lord is not in vain. Even when the path is unclear or the work feels unseen, He sees and rewards every act of faithfulness. *"Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up"* (Galatians 6:9 WEB). May this year be one of deep spiritual growth, divine appointments, and overflowing joy as you walk closely with Him. If there are areas where you struggle to surrender—perhaps fear, doubt, or past disappointments—bring them to the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith!
