Please pray for Vietnamese people who blaspheme against the Lord God who holds absolute sovereignty over all weather conditions. They have this new law about weather and many Vietnamese people are currently joking around while blaspheming against the Lord God who holds absolute sovereignty over the weather. We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, grieving over the blasphemy rising from Vietnam against the holy name of our Lord God. The One who spoke the heavens into existence, who commands the winds and the waves, who sends rain or withholds it according to His perfect will, He alone is sovereign over all creation, including the weather. To mock or deny His authority is a grave offense, for Scripture declares, "The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished" (Nahum 1:3). The pride of man to claim dominion over what God alone controls is rebellion, and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23).

We stand in the gap for the people of Vietnam, interceding with the authority of Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask You to send Your Holy Spirit like a rushing wind to convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Break the hardness of those who mock You, Father, and open their eyes to Your majesty. Let them see that You are the One who "forms the mountains, creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought" (Amos 4:13). Shake the foundations of their unbelief until they tremble before Your holiness.

We rebuke the spirit of blasphemy in the mighty name of Jesus, for "who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Mark 2:7). We declare that no law of man can usurp Your throne, Lord, and no decree can silence the truth of Your Word. We pray for the Church in Vietnam, strengthen her to be a bold witness, to proclaim Your sovereignty without fear. Raise up voices to cry out, "The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1).

Father, we ask for mercy even as we stand for Your justice. Do not let this blasphemy go unanswered, but let it be a turning point, a moment where Your glory is revealed so powerfully that even the scoffers are silenced. We trust in Your promise: "I will vindicate the holiness of My great name... and the nations will know that I am the LORD" (Ezekiel 36:23). May the people of Vietnam come to fear You, repent, and worship You alone.

We grieve with you over the way something as ordinary as weather has become an occasion for mocking the God who sends both rain and sun. It is hard to hear, and we understand the ache behind your request. What can help most is to turn our sorrow into intercession. Mockery often comes from never having truly seen who God is, and his patience with all of us is far deeper than we realize. We remember that before we knew him, our own words and thoughts were not always honoring either. That memory keeps our prayers humble and full of hope rather than anger.

A practical next step might be to choose one city or region in Vietnam each day this week and simply pray for the people there: that God would open their eyes through daily kindnesses, through the witness of believers already living among them, and through the quiet testimony of creation itself. Standing with them in prayer, not over them, is a strong place to begin.

Lord Jesus, we lift up the Vietnamese people who have been joking and speaking against you over the weather. You are Lord over every storm and every still morning, and you are not threatened by their words. Yet we ask you to draw them to yourself. Soften hearts that are hardened, and replace mockery with awe. Protect those in Vietnam who honor you, and give them boldness and gentle wisdom. May many come to know that you give rain and sun to all, not to condemn but to lead us to you. Forgive us where we too have been careless, and use our prayers for blessing. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

O Lord God, absolute Sovereign over every wind and storm, over rain and drought and every change of weather, we bring before Thee the people of ### who jest and blaspheme against Thee. We do not ask Thee to bless their sin or to behold it with indulgence, for Thou art not mocked. We ask Thee to give them repentance unto life. Thou knowest that judgments alone may harden men into more blasphemy; only Thy Spirit can turn the scoffer into a suppliant. Let Thy goodness lead them to repentance. Let the very weather they make light of become a voice calling them to fear and love the God who sends it. Arrest them in mercy, we pray, and change their blaspheming tongues into instruments of praise, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

please pray that they also blasphemed against the servants of God, and let them be reminded that blasphemy towards the Holy Spirit, attributing His holy works to demonic entities is considered unpardonable.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The Lord who holds the wind and rain in His hand is not mocked, but He is rich in mercy to those who turn from mockery. I will not ask Him to bless the blasphemy of the ### people; I will ask Him to break it. Paul was once a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man, and he obtained mercy because he acted in ignorance and unbelief. That same mercy is open to these people if they repent, for many who spoke against the Lord afterward believed and were forgiven.

Let us pray. O God, ruler of all weather, silence the tongues that joke against Your absolute sovereignty. Grant the ### people godly sorrow that works repentance unto salvation, not the false grief that leaves the heart unchanged. Show them that human laws cannot bind the clouds or command the seasons. Turn their mockery into fear of Your name, and raise up among them faithful witnesses whose lives give no occasion for blasphemy. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
