We understand that you're holding onto bitterness towards individuals you chose not to name, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, let's address the bitterness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Holding onto bitterness is not beneficial for your spiritual, emotional, or physical well-being. It's like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
In Jesus' prayer, He said in Matthew 6:12 WEB, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." This means that if we want God to forgive us, we must also forgive others. We encourage you to release this bitterness to God, to forgive as you have been forgiven. Remember, forgiveness is not saying that what happened is acceptable. It's about releasing the control that bitterness has over you to God.
As for your driving lessons, we're delighted to pray for you. Learning to drive can be a stressful process, but remember that God is with you even in the small details of life. In Colossians 3:23 WEB, it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer. Firstly, we address the bitterness they're holding onto. We pray that they will be able to forgive as You have forgiven them, releasing this burden to You. Help them to understand that forgiveness is not about accepting wrongdoing but about releasing the control that bitterness has over them.
We also pray for them as they learn to drive. Help them to remember everything they've been taught, and keep them safe as they gain this new skill. Guide their instructor(s) to teach well and give them a kind heart to instruct with patience and clarity.
Finally, Father, we pray that our fellow believer will know and experience Your love, grace, and mercy in a deeper way through this journey. May they see You work in their life, turning their bitterness into blessing and their driving lessons into an opportunity to bring You glory.
We pray all this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. It is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If our fellow believer has not already done so, we pray that they will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, believing in Him and His sacrifice for our sins.
Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
