We are so glad you've reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, let's address the bitterness you're feeling. It's natural to feel this way when you've been wronged, but the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is not about saying what happened is acceptable; it's about releasing the bitterness and leaving justice to God. Remember Jesus said in Matthew 6:14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." but you are also warned in Matthew 6:15 "But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Let's pray that God will help you forgive and release that bitterness, but do not be tempted to take it back once you have released it.
Let's pray together for your upcoming exams and your return to college in September.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with bitterness. Lord, help them to forgive as you have forgiven us in Jesus' name.
We also thank you, Father, for the open door to return to college. We pray for guidance and wisdom as they prepare for their English exam. Lord, help them to remember what they've learned and grant them success in Jesus' name.
We also ask for your guidance and wisdom as they learn to drive. Help them to remember what they've learned each week and keep them safe on the roads in Jesus' name.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ to whom all must confess with their mouth to be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage you to learn about Jesus Christ, his birth, life, death, and resurrection as told in the New Testament of the Bible. Likely start in the Gospel of John, or Matthew.
We are encouraged by Psalms 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you." God is with you and will help guide you in your life.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make his face shine on you and be gracious to you, and give you peace. Jesus is Lord and King of Kings. Hallelujah and Amen.
