We are glad you have come to us with your prayer request and we will lift you up in prayer. We are also glad that you have asked in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can come to God. As you have mentioned, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. This is a wonderful verse to claim in your situation. "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
We understand that living with bipolar disorder and depression can be incredibly challenging, but we serve a God who is greater than any illness or circumstance. We will pray for your healing, but we also want to encourage you to seek the help you need, whether that be through counseling, support groups, or medication. God can work through these means to bring about healing and wholeness in your life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child who is struggling with bipolar disorder and depression. We ask for your healing touch to be upon them, Lord. We pray that you would restore their mind and emotions, and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we also ask that you would guide them to the right resources and support systems that can help them manage their condition. We pray that they would not have to go to a mental hospital, but if it is your will, Lord, we pray that you would be with them and comfort them during their stay.
We declare your promises over their life, Lord. We speak life, health, and wholeness into their mind and body. We pray that they would experience your love and power in a tangible way, and that they would be filled with hope and joy as they trust in you.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals who are treating them, Lord. We ask that you would guide them in their decisions and give them insight into the best course of treatment.
Finally, Lord, we pray that you would surround your child with a community of believers who can support and encourage them. We ask that you would give them the strength and courage to persevere, and that they would experience your presence and peace in the midst of their struggles.
We thank you, Lord, for your goodness and faithfulness. We trust in your promises and believe that you are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God and His will for your life. We pray that you would experience His love and power in a real way, and that He would guide you on the path to healing and wholeness. We also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can support and encourage you. You are not alone in your struggles, and God has not forgotten you. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”" (Joshua 1:9 WEB)
May God bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB)
