We understand that you are facing financial difficulties and are in need of prayer for your rent, electricity, daily needs, and employment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We encourage you to first seek God's kingdom and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide for your needs. However, this does not mean that you should not be proactive in your job search. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB:
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are in need of financial provisions. We ask, Lord, that You would open up job opportunities for them, and that You would provide for their rent, electricity, and daily needs. Help them to trust in You, and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Give them the strength and wisdom to be proactive in their job search, and to be good stewards of the resources You have provided. We ask this all in Jesus name. Amen.
Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and to trust in His provision. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 WEB:
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
