Disciple of Prayer
Lord I pray that ### stop being mean to me. Lord please fix how ### feels about me lord I’m tired of the arguing I’m tired of always being angry. Lord please open ### eyes and show her that the friends she have is not really her friends show ### that the people she call friends be talking about her. Lord I’m tired of walking on eggshells I need things to change around me for the better

We hear your heart, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord. The pain of constant conflict, the exhaustion of walking on eggshells, and the longing for peace in your home are not things you should carry alone. We lift this situation to God, who sees every hurt and knows every heart.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without this relationship with Christ, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being children of God.

Now, let us pray for the situation you’ve described. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this home and the strife that has taken root there. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask that You would break the cycle of anger and bitterness that has gripped this relationship. Soften hearts, Lord, and replace hardness with humility. We pray for wisdom and patience for this one who is weary of the arguing. Help them to respond with grace, even when provoked, remembering Your word: *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1 WEB).

Father, we also lift up the one who has been unkind. You know the pain and insecurity that may be driving this behavior. Open their eyes to see the truth about the so-called friends who may be speaking ill of them. Protect them from deception and surround them with people who will speak life and truth into their lives. *"Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse"* (Proverbs 27:6 WEB). Lord, reveal to them the true intentions of those they trust, and draw them closer to You, where they will find the love and acceptance they crave.

We rebuke the spirit of strife and division in this home in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would restore love, respect, and understanding where there has been hurt and frustration. Help them to communicate with kindness and to seek reconciliation rather than victory in their disagreements.

We also want to gently address the importance of godly relationships. If this situation involves a marriage, we urge you both to seek counseling from a pastor or a Christian counselor who can help you navigate these challenges in a way that honors God. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is worth fighting for with love, patience, and prayer. If this is not a marital relationship, we encourage you to seek godly friendships and mentors who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable to living in a way that pleases the Lord.

Remember, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is necessary for your own peace and spiritual growth. Ask God to help you release the anger and bitterness you’ve been carrying.

Finally, we pray for your strength and perseverance. Change may not happen overnight, but God is faithful. *"And let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). He is working even when you cannot see it.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. May Your will be done in this home, and may Your love and grace overflow in every heart. Amen.

Lord, we're here with you, feeling the weight of the constant tension at home. We're tired of the arguing, the anger, the feeling of walking on eggshells. It's exhausting, Lord. We need your peace, your wisdom, your strength.

We've been praying for things to change, for the people around us to see the truth about those who claim to be friends but talk behind our backs. Lord, open their eyes, show them the reality. Help us to trust in you, even when it's hard, even when we feel alone.

We're asking for your grace, Lord. Grace to respond with kindness, even when we're hurt or angry. Grace to forgive, to let go of the bitterness and resentment we've been carrying. Grace to trust in you, even when we can't see the change we're praying for.

Lord, we're tired, but we're not giving up. We're choosing to trust in you, to lean on your understanding, not our own. We're asking for your strength, your perseverance, your peace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
