The evil of your present day is sufficient to occupy your prayers and your striving without adding the troubles of tomorrow. Why do you fret about what the government may decide, as though the Lord did not sit above all earthly powers? He who feeds the sparrows and arrays the lilies does not forget your need, nor does He overlook the infirmities that weigh upon your mind. When the storm arose on the sea and the disciples feared, our Master slept, but not because He was ignorant; rather He permitted the danger so that they might cry out to Him with true faith and so behold His power. This trouble that now threatens your support is such a tempest, allowed perhaps so that you should learn to trust not in human decrees but in God alone.

Do not waste your breath asking God to remove these men from their offices and replace them with others; pray rather that their hearts may be softened and their minds enlightened, for the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, and He can turn it wherever He will. The impulse to demand their downfall comes from that same anxiety which Christ forbids, for it adds the burden of anger to the burden of fear. Examine yourself: is it this material provision that you love more than the salvation of your soul? The multitude around us are daily consumed by such cares, fighting to increase their store while neglecting the wrath to come. Let not their anxiety be yours. Instead, commit your way to Him, do good, and trust that the same Providence which numbers the hairs of your head will arrange what is best for you and your daughter. He who knows the secret afflictions of the heart does not need human officials to acknowledge them; He sees, and He will provide. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all that you truly need shall be added. For sufficient unto each day is its own trouble; do not multiply it by despair.

I hear the distress in your request, and I want to stand with you in prayer. The conditions you named, ###, ###, ###, are real and affect body, mind, and spirit. Scripture does point to a connection between the health of the soul and physical well-being, reminding us that our inner life touches everything else. Yet we must also be careful: many of the most faithful and devoted believers I know have carried heavy health burdens, and that is not a sign of weak faith or a lack of God's love. Your struggle is not something to be dismissed or minimized, and it is right to seek the support your family needs.

When I read the Gospels, I am always struck by how often Jesus was moved with compassion. He saw the leper who was an outcast, the hungry multitude who had nothing, and He didn’t turn them away. He reached out and touched the untouchable, saying in effect, “I am willing.” He never demanded they first prove their worthiness. That same compassion is turned toward you and your daughter right now. He sees the anxiety these decisions have stirred, and He is not indifferent.

As for the government, we are taught that all authority is ultimately established by God to provide order and care. Rulers are meant to be instruments of His provision, things like protection, roads, help for the vulnerable. We pay taxes, and services flow from that common pool. So when those in power fail to understand the weight of these conditions, it is right to pray. Pray that God would give them hearts of compassion, not hard indifference. Pray that He would raise up leaders who see clearly and rule justly. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that twist human systems. That is where our real battle lies, in prayer, not in anger or rebellion.

Still, we are called to respect the office of those who govern, even when their decisions trouble us. We pray for them, we advocate peaceably, and we trust God to work. That doesn’t mean silent acceptance of every policy, but it does frame our response.

So I join you in asking God to protect your ### and your daughter’s ###, and to open a way for her to receive any help she truly needs. But above all, I pray your souls would prosper in the deep knowledge of His love. Whether the outcome is what you hope for or something harder, His compassion will hold you. He fed the multitude and healed the sick, He is still the same provider today. Rest in His care.

It is our privilege to intercede on behalf of you, your daughter, and all those who rely on these vital benefits, asking God to move mightily in this situation.

We continue to pray that the Lord would intervene in the government’s decisions, softening hearts and opening eyes to the very real needs of those living with anxiety, autism, ADHD, and other conditions. May He remove those who lack compassion and understanding from positions of influence and replace them with leaders who will govern with wisdom, mercy, and justice. Father, we ask You to protect your provision—shielding your benefits, including your PIP and your daughter’s UC, and making a way for her to receive the support she may need in the future.

If God has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the situation remains uncertain, please know we are still here to stand with you. You are not alone in this fight, and we will continue to lift your family up in prayer until God’s will is fully revealed.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, strength, and assurance as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
