Believers in FLOOD, Strength, Endurance -- Send Workers for Harvest Matt 9:35-37, Prepare Next Regions for Approaching Storms, Earthquakes, Wars, Famines, Typhoons, Persecution, Gospel Preaching, Teaching Everything Jesus Commanded, Matt 24:4-13, Matt 28:18-20...

Father this event is one of those things that could shake new believers (and those less grounded in the Whole Counsel of God that gives reasons for the necessity of suffering, perplexity and "birth pangs"), but we do pray the church is strengthened, for rescue teams with Christ-like love, unity and workers to be released into The Harvest of Jesus Christ, Matt 9:35-37. Keep them strong through Your Intercession, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25, and Our intercession, that their faith fail not, and once they turn back (work through misunderstanding the Scriptures on suffering, and the coming birth pangs and their nature), strengthen their brothers and sisters, Luke 22:32-32. Keep back "mere secular humanism," ideologically errant "philanthropy," "cults with false messages and money like Latter Day Saints," and "False religions with good works and upside-down doctrine," Matt 24:4-5, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16 as well as evil people and exploitation rings, Ex 21:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Rev 18:13.

We've been praying you prepare THE CHURCH for the next calamities, and ask in Your Mercy you continue to let us know what's to occur beforehand, John 14:29, 1 Cor 14:1-4, Joseph in Genesis prepared the people in Egypt for the coming famine, Gen 41:25-48, was given access to much which pertained to Nebuchadnezzar 1 & 2, Darius, His People, Israel and All Generations of the Righteous Believers until Present, Daniel 1:1-12:13, Agabus to quiet the calumny that was only old testament, "One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)" Acts 11:28. There are records of a considerable amount of warnings given to the church before each false doctrine crept into their "counsels of men" over the last 2000+ years (many more being only referred to since their prophetic warning was "tossed aside" after the church ran blindly into veneration of images, papal infallibility, praying to saints, adoption of "Mary Worship," and the departing of Scripture as the sole authority on which all matters are to be settled, preaching in latin and languages not understood by the masses, etc, etc)... As well as other warnings of world events from antiquity...

Raise up your humble servants who can once more have understanding not only of all kinds of literature and learning, but also of visions and dreams, Dan 1:17, (which "wisdom and interpretations [and gifts] come from God," Gen 40:8, Gen 41:16, Prov 2:6, Dan 2:27-28, as everything humans receive, John 3:27, James 1:17) especially understanding of the signs and times, 1 Chron 12:32, Matt 16:3, Luke 12:53-56, Matt 24:4-14. Thank You in Jesus' Name, for not letting us be anxious, Phil 4:6-7, but in placid equanimity keep alert, assiduous and persistent in prayer, what we hear whispered in our ears and bedrooms let us and proclaim and warn from our housetops, Matt 10:27, preach the gospel, Mark 16:15-20, discharge ourselves from bloodguilt by not hesitating from declaring anything beneficial , Acts 20:20, nor neglecting to declare the the 'hard sayings,' John 6:60-63, or shrinking back from declaring of the whole counsel of God," Acts 20:27, "Going and making disciples, baptizing and teaching obedience to ALL Jesus commanded so You'll be with us to the end of the age," Matt 28:19-20, C.f., Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20, 2 Peter 3:11-18,. Let us "look forward to and hasten the coming of the Day of God," 2 Peter 3:12, by fulfilling The Great Commission, Luke 24:36-47, Acts 1:8, for "THIS Gospel of the Kingdom (The Gospel Jesus and The Apostles Preached, which just happened to be confirmed by signs, wonders, miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, Heb 2:3-4) must first be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations (ethnos -- ethnic groups, specific cultures and languages within countries or with no country), so You may wrap things up and usher in "The Palingenesia, The Period of Restoration of All Things, Matt 19:28, Acts 3:19-21, for which creation groans, Matt 24:14, Rom 8:22.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things,"Job 42:2. We boast in Our Dad (The LORD, Yahweh) a little, Jer 9:23-24, 1 Cor 1:30-31, 2 Cor 10:17. We know (like Gabriel), with Our Father, that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, and as Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ said, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, and us from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. We join you in this burden for believers facing flood and for the church to be strengthened and prepared for the storms, earthquakes, wars, famines and trials that Jesus said would come as birth pangs.

We agree that these are indeed the beginning of birth pains and they can shake those who are young in the faith if they are not grounded in the whole counsel of God. Jesus said you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains Matt 24:6-8. We are reminded that creation groans and travails in pain together until now Rom 8:22 and that our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory 2 Cor 4:17. Suffering is not without purpose, it refines faith and prepares us for glory, and we pray no one stumbles over it.

We lift up before the Father those in flooded regions and those facing coming calamities. We pray for endurance, clarity of mind and steadfast focus on Christ, for rescue teams and for the body of Christ to move in unity and Christlike love. Jesus looked on the crowds and was moved with compassion, because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matt 9:37-38. We ask the Lord to thrust forth workers into the harvest field, to preach the gospel of the kingdom and to teach all that Jesus commanded Matt 28:20, making disciples of all nations Matt 28:19.

We pray as you have prayed, that the faith of new believers may not fail. We remember how Jesus prayed for Peter, But I prayed for you, that your faith would not fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers Luke 22:32. We ask for the intercession of Christ who is at the right hand of God and who also makes intercession for us Rom 8:34 and who lives to make intercession Heb 7:25, to keep them through trial. We also join our intercession that they will grow in understanding of the Scriptures and not be led astray.

We share your concern for discernment in times of disaster. Jesus warned, Watch that no one leads you astray Matt 24:4, and we are told to turn away from those having a form of godliness, but denying its power 2 Tim 3:5, for evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13. We pray for protection from mere secular humanism, from false philanthropy, from cults and false religions that come with good works but with upside down doctrine, and from those who would exploit the vulnerable, for we know the Lord delivers us from every evil work and will guard us 2 Thess 3:3 and we pray Deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13.

We thank God that He does warn and prepare His people beforehand. You have reminded us of Joseph who was given wisdom to prepare Egypt for famine Gen 41:28-36 and of Daniel who received understanding in all visions and dreams Dan 1:17 because every good gift and every perfect gift is from above James 1:17 and of Agabus who through the Spirit predicted a severe famine over all the world Acts 11:28. We desire to be sons of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do 1 Chron 12:32, and to understand the signs of the times as Jesus taught Matt 16:3. We ask for humble servants who seek wisdom from God who gives to all liberally Prov 2:6 and who will watch therefore, for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming Mark 13:35 and keep on the alert Mark 13:37.

Father in heaven, we come together in the name of Jesus Christ and ask You to strengthen every believer affected by flood and by coming storms. Grant them focus, strength and endurance to run the race with patience. Provide for their physical needs, shelter, clean water and safety, and above all feed them with Your Word, for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God Luke 4:4. Guard them from fear and deception and from evil people 2 Thess 3:2. Raise up laborers who will preach the gospel Mark 16:15, who will not shrink from declaring the whole counsel of God Acts 20:27, who will proclaim in the light what they hear in darkness and upon the housetops Matt 10:27. Let this gospel of the Kingdom be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come Matt 24:14. Keep us from anxiety, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You Phil 4:6, so that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7. We remember that with God all things are possible Matt 19:26 and nothing spoken by God will be impossible Luke 1:37. We look for and hasten the coming of the day of God 2 Pet 3:12, not in fear but in holy living and godliness as we hasten to fulfill Your Great Commission.

We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will and for Your glory, in Jesus name, Amen.

We appreciate you bringing this burden before the Lord so thoughtfully. Your heart for believers walking through flood and upheaval, especially those newer in faith who can feel unsettled by suffering, comes through clearly. We join you in asking for steadiness for them and for those serving on rescue and relief teams, that they would know unity and Christlike love as they serve.

We also share your desire to see more workers released into the harvest and churches made ready before the next hard season comes. Endurance is formed over time, more like long training than a single moment, as people learn day by day to walk closely with Jesus and to lean on one another. Your faithful, ongoing prayers are part of that preparation, even when you cannot see the fruit right away.

It may help to keep your intercession focused and sustainable, perhaps lifting one region or one team of workers each day, and staying connected with your local church family as you do. That fellowship helps keep prayer both grounded and hopeful.

Father, we lift to You those affected by flooding and those serving them, and the wider church facing storms, hunger and unrest. Strengthen faith where it wavers, provide workers for the harvest, and keep Your people rooted in Your care and truth. Give wisdom to leaders and comfort to the weary. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your burden and have carried it with you to the throne of grace, and we join our prayers with yours that the Lord of the harvest would be entreated for His own harvest field.

You have done well to remember the word of our Lord, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few, pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. The harvest is not ours but His, and if the precious corn should perish it is our heavenly Father's corn that perishes. Therefore we must pray that He would thrust forth labourers, for the figure itself teaches urgency. The reaping is a matter of now or never, the fields are already white, and the time to bind the sheaves and gather them in is present. Every church should be looking for a spiritual harvest, sowing with a view to harvest, hiring and clearing the weeds with a view to harvest, and expecting with holy confidence the joy which belongs to reaping.

You ask also that the church may be prepared for those birth pangs of which our Lord warned us, storms and floods, earthquakes and famines, wars and persecutions. Let not the young and newly planted be shaken when these things come to pass, for the whole counsel of God has told us beforehand that they must be. Persecution and trial are permitted as a tearful seed time quickly to be followed by a harvest of joy. Even as the hive is scattered that each swarm may make honey, so the Lord scatters His people that the word may be spread abroad, and He keeps up by this means the separation between the church and the world. What seems an omen of evil is turned by His hand to good. We pray therefore not that we may be spared all suffering, but that we may have patience as the husbandman hath, who waiteth for the former and the latter rain, and that we may be kept from fear and from evil, the Lord Himself interceding for us at the right hand of God, that our faith fail not, and that when we are turned again we may strengthen our brethren.

We have pleaded with you for those who go forth to rescue and to reap, that the Lord would give them Christlike love and unity, that He would knit the sheaves together in love, and that their work may not be done till the corn is housed and gathered into the garner. We have asked that He would keep back from among them mere secular humanism and every form of philanthropy which has a form of godliness but denies the power thereof, and those cults and false religions which come with good words and with money but with upside down doctrine, and all evil men who would exploit the distress of the helpless. Let the church hold fast to Scripture as the sole authority by which all matters are to be settled, preaching the whole counsel of God, not shrinking from declaring anything profitable nor neglecting the hard sayings, but teaching obedience to all that Jesus commanded.

We thank God that He has given us in His Word full warning of these things, as He gave to Joseph understanding for the famine in Egypt, and to Daniel and to Agabus in their generations. Above all we have the more sure word of prophecy, and the gift to discern the signs of the times as the men of Issachar had understanding of the times. Let us therefore not be anxious, but in placid and persistent prayer watch and be sober, proclaiming from the housetops what we have heard from the Lord, preaching the gospel to every creature, making disciples, baptizing and teaching, and looking forward to and hastening the coming of the day of God by fulfilling the great commission. For this gospel of the kingdom must first be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then shall the end come.

May the Lord grant you to sow in hope though it be with an aching heart and with tears, for the joy of harvest is a joy which respects former toil, a joy of congratulation and of gratitude, and above all a joy in which the harvested ones themselves rejoice. The harvest on earth is but the shadow of the eternal harvest above, when the wheat shall be gathered into the heavenly garner and the reapers shall sing together. Oh for more faith to rest upon His Word, that we may have more of these harvest joys even now, and at last be found as shocks of corn fully ripe, welcomed home with hallelujahs to the Son of God.

We commit you and all the tried saints in the flooded regions to Him who ever liveth to make intercession, praying that He will keep you strong, keep you from temptation and from the evil one, and keep you abounding in the work of the Lord, till He come.
