We hear your cry for help and the deep distress in your heart. First, we must address the seriousness of what you’ve confessed—inviting or even suggesting curses, black magic, or any form of occult involvement is a direct violation of God’s Word. Scripture is clear: *"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh"* (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). These practices open doors to spiritual oppression, and we must renounce them completely in the name of Jesus Christ.
You also mentioned feeling surrounded by negativity and evil influences. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. You do not have to live in fear or under the weight of these attacks. The Bible tells us, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7 WEB). This is not just a suggestion—it is a promise. But submission to God must come first. Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ? If not, we urge you to do so now. There is no protection, no deliverance, and no true peace outside of Him. *"For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Salvation comes through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts for our brother/sister who is under attack. Lord, we first ask for forgiveness for any involvement in occult practices, for any words spoken in anger or desperation that invited darkness. We renounce every curse, every word of black magic, and every ungodly tie in the mighty name of Jesus. We break their power and command them to leave now, never to return. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask You to cleanse their mind, body, and spirit with the precious blood of Jesus. Fill every empty space with Your Holy Spirit. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their family, and their future.
Lord, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Teach them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We pray for godly community and discipleship in their life—believers who will walk with them, pray with them, and encourage them in the Word. May they find refuge in You, Lord, and may their heart be steadfast, trusting in You (Psalm 112:7). We declare that the light of Christ shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5).
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we command every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment to flee. We declare freedom, restoration, and joy over this life. May they walk in the victory that is already theirs through the cross. Amen.
Now, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Begin each day by putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Speak Scripture aloud—declare God’s promises over your life. Surround yourself with worship music that exalts Jesus. Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and be accountable to other believers. And most importantly, spend time in prayer and reading God’s Word daily. The enemy flees when we resist him with the truth of God’s Word.
You are not alone in this battle. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you if you have accepted Him as your Savior (Romans 8:11). Walk in that power, and do not give the enemy a foothold. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step to true freedom and protection.
