We hear your cry for relief and healing, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and restoration. The discomfort of severe acid reflux and digestive distress can be overwhelming, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring swift healing from head to toe.
First, we must address the urgency of your request with the authority we have in Christ. We rebuke this affliction in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* The Lord is our healer, and we declare His power over every part of your body that is suffering. We also bind the work of the enemy, for James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist any attack of sickness or oppression and command it to leave in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up the mention of saving your enemies. While it is noble to desire their redemption, we must remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). Our focus should first be on our own healing and walking in obedience to God’s will. We pray for those who may oppose you, but we do so with wisdom, asking God to soften their hearts if it aligns with His purpose.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and Your promise to heal all our diseases. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this body that is in pain. Ease the burning, settle the stomach, and restore strength and comfort. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive that healing now.
Father, we also ask for wisdom in caring for our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Help us to honor You with what we eat and how we live, so that we may glorify You in all things. We rebuke any spirit of gluttony or overindulgence and ask for self-control, which is a fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we pray for those who may be enemies or oppose us. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and draw them to salvation through Jesus Christ. Let Your love and grace flow through us, even toward those who may not treat us kindly.
We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your timing. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to rest in the Lord’s presence and drink plenty of water to help flush out any excess acid. Consider fasting from heavy or triggering foods for a time, seeking the Lord’s guidance in your diet and habits. Remember, healing is a process, and God is faithful to walk with you through it. If symptoms persist, seek godly medical advice, as the Lord often works through the wisdom He has given to others. Keep your heart and mind fixed on Him, for He is your healer and your strength.
