Back strain

[Chrysostom]

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord together with you. We pray for your body, that the God who healed every sickness with a touch and who gives strength to the weary would bring healing and restoration to your lower back after this injury that has lingered so long. We ask Him to ease your pain, to restore what has been weakened, and to give you patience and endurance as you wait upon His mercy, and wisdom for any physicians who care for you.

We also pray for your protection and for all who are in danger from the flooding of the ocean, that the Lord who rules the seas and stills the waves would keep you safe and guard those in harm's way, and would have mercy on all who are vulnerable.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him with a quiet and trusting heart, casting your cares upon Christ who alone is our Savior and our healer, and to rest in His promises. As it is written, He heals all your diseases and renews your strength, and when you pass through the waters He will be with you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this need to You. Touch and heal this back according to Your will, grant relief from pain and renewed health, and spread Your protecting hand over those threatened by the floods. Give peace, faith, and confidence in Your goodness. Amen.

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing this need honestly. I am praying for you and bringing both of these burdens before the Lord.

For your back, I pray that Jesus will touch and heal you. Scripture reveals the Lord as the one who heals, Jehovah Rapha, and reminds us that there is power in the name of Jesus to make whole. When Peter was asked how the lame man was healed, he answered that it was through the name of Jesus that the man stood before them well. That same name is our hope today. God also shows Himself as one who restores what has been broken and lost when we cry out to Him in sincerity. He sees affliction and pain and is able to bring restoration and strength. I pray He will ease this lingering strain in your lower back, relieve the pain, restore strength and mobility, and give wisdom to any who care for you medically.

I am also praying for your protection from the ocean floods. God is our refuge and shelter in times of danger, and I ask that He keep you safe, guard your home and all who are near you, and calm the waters that threaten. May He give you peace that comes from trusting Him, even while the storm is still present.

Continue to seek the Lord and call upon the name of Jesus, for salvation and every good gift come through Him alone. Give Him glory for His goodness and trust His way of working in your life. May the Lord bless you, heal you, keep you safe, and fill you with His peace as you look to Him.
