We lift up your dear aunt to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the giver of life. It is clear you are carrying a heavy burden of worry and fear, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), so we ask Him to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 3:16-18).
Now, let us pray together for your aunt and for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved aunt who is in such a critical condition. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You would sustain her body, restore her strength, and grant her the ability to eat and drink again. If it is Your will, Lord, raise her up in health and wholeness, that she may continue to live for Your glory.
We also pray for this dear one who is burdened with worry and sleepless nights. Father, fill them with Your peace and remind them that You are in control. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Comfort them with Your presence and surround them with Your love.
Lord, we ask that through this trial, Your name would be glorified. Whether in healing or in homegoing, may Your perfect will be done. Strengthen the faith of this family and draw them closer to You. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and uplift you during this time. Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful, and His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). May He grant you rest and assurance that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Stay steadfast in prayer, and may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him (Romans 15:13).
