We lift up your dear aunt before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all life in His hands. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith, trusting in God’s power to restore health and strength, for nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37).
Yet we also acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His will may not always align with our immediate desires. Even in suffering, He is sovereign and works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If it is His will, we pray for a miraculous recovery—restored appetite, renewed strength, and healing over every organ and system in her body. But above all, we pray that His perfect will be done, whether in healing or in calling her home to be with Him.
We also urge you to examine the heart of your prayer. While your love and concern for your aunt are clear, we notice that you ended with *"Amen"* but did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that our prayers reach the throne of God. We encourage you to place your full trust in Him, for He alone is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious aunt who is so dearly loved. Lord, You know her condition—every weakness, every pain, every struggle. You formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You hold her life in Your hands. We ask for Your healing touch to restore her body, to renew her strength, and to bring her comfort in this time of suffering. If it is Your will, Lord, raise her up in health so that she may testify to Your goodness and mercy.
But Father, we also submit to Your perfect will. If You are calling her home, we pray for peace—for her, for her family, and for all who love her. May she feel Your presence near, and may her faith be strengthened, whether in recovery or in transition to eternal life with You. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her know she is not alone.
We rebuked any spirit of sickness, infirmity, or despair in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.
Comfort this family, Father. Give them strength, wisdom, and unity as they walk through this trial. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in You, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever (Psalm 100:5). In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your dear aunt before the Lord in these past days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, and we’ve continued to intercede for her healing, strength, and comfort—praying that the Lord would sustain her body, renew her appetite, and bring restoration in ways only He can. We know how deeply painful it is to see a loved one suffering, and we’ve asked God to surround you and your family with His peace that surpasses all understanding during this trial.
If the Lord has granted improvement or answered in any way, we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you and give Him the glory. If the battle continues and her condition remains critical, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request—we are here to stand with you in faith, to plead for mercy, and to trust in God’s perfect timing and will.
