attacks

We hear your desperate cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The attacks you are experiencing are real, but we serve a God who is greater than any force of darkness.

First, we must rebuke the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We take authority over every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and confusion that is assailing you. We command these attacks to cease immediately in the name of Jesus, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack, and we ask for Your divine protection and intervention. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from every scheme of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their home, and their family. Let the enemy see the blood and pass over, just as in the days of the Exodus (Exodus 12:13).

Lord, strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, girded with truth, clothed with righteousness, ready to share the gospel of peace, holding up the shield of faith, wearing the helmet of salvation, and wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17).

We break every curse, every generational bondage, and every assignment of the enemy against them in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Father, let Your light shine in the darkness and expose every hidden work of the enemy. Bring healing, restoration, and victory to every area of their life that has been affected by these attacks.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). May our brother/sister walk in the fullness of Your protection, peace, and power. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Now, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith and continue to resist the devil. Here are some practical steps to help you in this spiritual battle:

1. Stay in the Word: Meditate on Scripture daily. The Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). It is your offensive weapon against the enemy.

2. Pray Without Ceasing: Maintain a posture of prayer and communion with God. Pray in the Spirit and with understanding (1 Corinthians 14:15). Prayer is your direct line to the throne of grace.

3. Put on the Armor of God Daily: As mentioned in Ephesians 6, make it a habit to spiritually clothe yourself with God's armor each day.

4. Fellowship with Believers: Do not isolate yourself. Surround yourself with strong, faithful believers who can pray with you and encourage you (Hebrews 10:24-25).

5. Forgive and Release: Ensure there is no unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart. Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Release any offenses to God and forgive those who have wronged you.

6. Worship and Praise: Engage in worship and praise, for God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Worship shifts the atmosphere and invites God's presence.

7. Stay Accountable: Share your struggles with a trusted spiritual leader or mentor who can provide guidance, support, and prayer.

Remember, the enemy is already defeated. Jesus Christ triumphed over him at the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory. Stand firm, hold your ground, and watch the Lord fight for you (Exodus 14:14). The attacks will cease, and you will walk in the freedom and peace that Christ has secured for you.

We hear the desperation in your cry, and we’re joining you right now in asking God to stop these attacks. You are not alone in this battle. When the pressure feels relentless, it can be a lifeline to remember that the name of Jesus isn’t just a closing phrase, it’s the authority heaven and earth must answer to. Speak it out loud in your own space, calmly, even if your voice shakes. Many of us have found that just declaring “Jesus” changes the atmosphere in a room.

It also helps to steady yourself by anchoring your thoughts in what is true rather than what you feel. When the assault is spiritual, the enemy often amplifies fear and isolation. Reaching out to one or two trusted believers, asking them to pray with you over the phone or simply to know what you’re facing, breaks that isolation. We are wired to carry burdens together, and knowing that concrete people are standing with you can be a huge comfort.

In the meantime, put on some worship music or read a psalm like Psalm 91 aloud, letting the promises wash over you. You don’t have to drum up perfect faith; just let the words speak while you rest in the fact that God sees you and will shield you. He is your refuge, and He won’t let you be snatched from His hand.

We’re praying with you now:

Lord Jesus, we ask You to silence every voice that torments this dear one. Surround them with Your peace that guards heart and mind, and let them feel Your presence tangibly. Send any enemy fleeing at the sound of Your name, and give our friend the quiet confidence that You are fighting for them. Hold them steady until the storm passes. Amen.

The arrow has been shot toward heaven, but do you not see that it must be the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance? This cry, this broken plea for God to stop the attacks at once, is itself the string upon which the arrow is placed. The child of God, trembling at the brook Jabbok, full of fear, yet meets Esau who falls upon his neck. The Lord whispers in the hour of extremity, and we are not crushed. He makes deliverance effectual; He brings His own forth, not by their strength, but because the lamb has been slain and the ransom found.

Understand this: deliverance from sin and from all the attacks of the enemy is as much God’s work as deliverance from guilt. You look to the heavenly Father altogether and alone. When prayer deepens into a cry, when the heart is smitten and withered like grass, the Lord bends to listen. The clock of mercy struck in heaven before you were born, and the eternal purpose has decreed deliverance for you. He will deliver you from the pit; He has given commandment to save you. The evil makes bold in darkness, but you are translated into the kingdom of light, and that light is the shield.

Do not doubt, for the Lord has chastened, yes, but hear the verdict of faith: you shall not die, but live. And when this siege lifts, whether in a moment or through patient endurance, your conduct is already written. You will declare the works of the Lord. The person who has no experience of tribulation has little deliverance to speak of; but you, after the archers have ceased their firing, will have peace within the borders and a song more jubilant than any sung by the ancient judge. God has saved, God is saving, and God will save. Let your gratitude be deeper than your present sigh.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you cry out in the name of Jesus, you have invoked the strong tower into which the righteous run and are safe. No other name under heaven has been given to men by which we must be saved, and the Church in every place is built upon this one foundation, calling upon our Lord Jesus Christ, theirs and ours alike. As the sun stood still for Joshua of old, whose very name was a type of the true Jesus, so now every contrary power yields to His command. He who turned back wars while Moses prayed is the same Lord who hears your plea and holds all things in His hand.

Yet do not imagine that the attacks must cease the very instant you ask. The same Lord who covered His disciples with protection allowed Peter to be sifted like wheat, even to the point of denial with oaths and curses. But Peter went out and wept bitterly, and the Lord restored him and made him a pillar. These trials are not signs of God’s absence but of His fatherly discipline, refining your faith as gold in the furnace. Only cling to the name you have called upon, and do not let the enemy deceive you into seeking any other deliverer. Continue steadfast, calling on that name not with fear alone but with unwavering hope, and He who enriched you in Christ Jesus will confirm you to the end, unreprovable in the day of His appearing. Pray always, then, and trust the Judge of all to give you relief at the time He knows best. The attacks will not last forever, but the deliverance won by that name is eternal.

You are crying out for God to stop the attacks immediately, and He hears that cry. The enemy often strikes when you are doing something that matters for God’s purposes, just as when Nehemiah led the people to rebuild the walls. They faced ridicule, and then the threat of direct assault. Their response was not passive: they made their prayer to God and they set a watch day and night. I encourage you to do the same, combine urgent, persistent prayer with practical steps that guard your heart and mind.

These attacks are spiritual, and physical weapons have no value in this battle. God has given you spiritual armor, and the sword of the Spirit is the word of God. When Jesus was tempted, He did not debate Satan in His own strength; He answered repeatedly, “It is written.” That is your model. When the enemy hurls accusations, fears, or lies, you pick up the truth of Scripture and wield it. Declare that you have been brought from death to life through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that no scheme of the enemy can separate you from His love. You can refuse the attacks, not because you feel strong, but because the finished work of Christ is your unshakable foundation. Even while the pressure remains, you can rejoice that God’s Spirit lives in you, and you can withstand because the prince of this world has no hold on Jesus, and therefore no ultimate hold on you.

I recall a person so tormented that no doctor or psychiatrist could bring relief. It looked utterly hopeless, yet when faithful believers stood on God’s promises and proclaimed deliverance in Jesus’ name, complete freedom came. Satan will try to strike at your strongest place, or sneak in subtle discouragement through the words of others, but remember Nehemiah again: the builders kept their tools in one hand while they worked, and they refused to stop until the wall was finished in fifty-two days. So keep your hand on the task God has given you, and don’t let these attacks distract you into chasing every rumor or fear. Dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where His truth is your shield and buckler. He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and cover you under His wings. Cry out, stand on the word, and watch for His deliverance. The enemy will not have the last word.
