Atroublesome political shift

We have a country once respected for its principles and values ,the ### who nowadays is increasingly embracing the extreme fringe of a certain political party, which now embraces Communism, believe someone born as one gender can willfully switch over one believes God is 6 genders. A birtion, gay "marriage".Also very anti ###.But worse yet, theyre gaining traction, and more people voting them in, a poisoning of minds, and plus theyll try to push their unGodly tendency on us. Because certain people here hate the current ### so much that they sell their soul to counter him.For the deceived people in the clutches of their bad judgement to reclaim their senses.

We hear the deep distress in your heart over the spiritual and moral decline you see in our nation. The shifts you describe are indeed grievous, Communism, which has historically oppressed faith and freedom; the denial of God’s created order in gender and sexuality; the redefinition of marriage, which the Lord established as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6); and the growing hostility toward those who stand for biblical truth. These are not merely political differences but spiritual battles, where the enemy seeks to distort God’s design and lead many astray (Ephesians 6:12).

First, we must examine our own hearts. While it is right to be grieved by sin and deception, we must guard against bitterness, fear, or a spirit of division. Jesus calls us to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16). Our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. We must pray for our leaders, even those with whom we strongly disagree, asking God to either change their hearts or remove them from influence (1 Timothy 2:1-2). We must also pray for the Church to rise up with boldness, humility, and truth, shining as lights in this darkening world (Philippians 2:15).

The deception you describe is real. Many have been swayed by lies because they do not know the truth of God’s Word. The enemy has blinded their minds (2 Corinthians 4:4), and they cannot see the destruction toward which they are heading. But God is able to open their eyes. We must intercede for them, asking the Lord to break the chains of deception and draw them to repentance. We must also speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), not shrinking back from what is right, but doing so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15-16).

The push to normalize sin and silence opposition is a tactic as old as time. The prophets of old faced similar resistance when they called God’s people to repentance. Yet they did not waver, and neither must we. We must stand firm on the Word of God, refusing to compromise, even when it costs us. Jesus warned that the world would hate us because it hated Him first (John 15:18-19), but He also promised that He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Our hope is not in politics or earthly power but in the victory of Christ.

We must also address the danger of allowing hatred or idolatry of any leader to take root in our hearts. You mentioned that some have "sold their soul" to oppose a particular figure. This is a sobering warning. No political leader, no matter how flawed, is worth our eternal soul. Our allegiance must first and always be to Christ. If we allow bitterness, fear, or political fervor to replace our devotion to Him, we risk becoming just as deceived as those we oppose. Let us repent of any such idolatry and ask God to purify our hearts.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the spiritual darkness we see spreading in our nation. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and nothing happens outside of Your knowledge or control. Yet we also know that You have given us the responsibility to stand for truth, to pray for our leaders, and to be salt and light in this world.

We pray for those who have been deceived by the lies of the enemy. Father, open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word. Break the chains of deception that bind them, and draw them to repentance. We ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to see the destruction toward which they are heading. Raise up voices of truth in our nation, pastors, teachers, and believers who will boldly proclaim Your Word without compromise.

Lord, we pray for our leaders, both those we support and those we oppose. We ask that You would either change their hearts or remove them from influence. Give them wisdom, humility, and a fear of You, that they might govern with justice and righteousness. Protect our nation from the consequences of ungodly policies and ideologies. We ask that You would turn the hearts of the people back to You, that we might once again be a nation that honors You in our laws, our culture, and our lives.

Father, we also pray for the Church. Strengthen us to stand firm in the face of opposition. Help us to speak the truth in love, without fear or compromise. Give us boldness to proclaim the Gospel, even when it is unpopular. Protect us from the temptation to hate or idolize political leaders, and help us to keep our eyes fixed on You.

We pray for those who are feeling overwhelmed or discouraged by the state of our nation. Remind them that our hope is not in earthly power but in the victory of Christ. Fill them with Your peace and strength, and help them to trust in Your promises.

Lord, we know that the battle we face is spiritual. Equip us with the full armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the enemy. Help us to be wise, discerning, and full of grace as we engage with a world that is increasingly hostile to Your truth.

We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name through which we have access to You. May Your will be done in our nation, and may Your kingdom come. Amen.

Let us also remember the words of 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." This is our call, to humble ourselves, to pray, to seek God’s face, and to turn from our own sin. As we do so, we can trust that He will hear us and act on behalf of our nation.

Do not lose heart, dear brother or sister. The darkness may seem overwhelming, but the light of Christ is greater. Keep your eyes on Him, stand firm in the faith, and continue to pray without ceasing. The Lord is at work, even when we cannot see it, and His purposes will prevail.

We hear the grief and frustration in your words, that aching sense of watching something precious slip away as public sentiment shifts. It’s genuinely painful to see people we care about embrace ideas that feel so contrary to what we know is good and true, especially when the momentum seems to be growing.

In moments like these, it helps us to remember that we’re not powerless, and certainly not alone. God is not pacing heaven, wringing His hands over the latest cultural trend. He sees every heart, and He knows exactly how to draw wandering souls back to Himself. The most strategic thing we can do right now is to trade general anxiety for specific, consistent prayer. Instead of letting the whole tangled mess overwhelm us, we can begin naming particular people or groups before the Lord, asking Him to gently clear their minds, to dismantle the lies they’ve absorbed, and to give them a genuine hunger for what is true. Often, the real battle is waged quietly, in the hidden place of intercession.

We can also guard our own hearts against the cynicism or rage that would only mirror the very spirit we lament. By staying grounded in Christ and extending unexpected kindness to those who hold opposite views, we protect our own souls while offering a different witness.

Please join us as we pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this nation and the many who have been swept into deception. You are the only one who can open blind eyes and soften stubborn hearts. We ask You to do that, to cut through confusion, to expose what is false, and to draw people back to Your truth. Guard this dear writer from despair, and give them steady hope rooted in Your unshakable kingdom. In Your name, amen.

Your sorrow over the nation’s descent into darkness is right, yet take heart: the shifting of multitudes toward error is no new thing. The Christian’s battle is not with flesh and blood, but with the spirit of the age that opposes God and His truth. You see the banner of biblical morality trampled, and the very notions of manhood and womanhood, crafted by the Creator’s own hand, scorned as if they were mere playthings. This is enough to make any faithful heart groan. But remind yourself of this: the Lord who upholds all that fall has not abdicated His throne. Fear of man is a snare; the Truth that God directs the hearts of kings and the course of nations ought to make you brave. Why should a believer quail before a worm who shall die? They may legislate madness and call it marriage, but they cannot overturn the Word which declares, “In the beginning, God made them male and female.” Their philosophies are the froth of a fevered brain; they will be swept away, while the truth of the Lord endureth for ever.

The greater peril, I charge you, is not what the world does, but whether the church loses her distinctiveness. When Christians live at a distance from their Master, others stumble. When our conversation is full of politics but empty of Christ, we lose the power that attracts. The deceived in your midst will not be won by desperate alignment with one human leader against another, that is selling your soul to counter folly. They will be reached when they see in you a patient, cheerful, godly life, marked by the transparency of one who has bought the truth at any price. Let them find you immovable on the Word, yet disinterested and sympathetic, weeping for them as Christ wept over Jerusalem. The surest weapon is a tongue that speaks of Christ’s upholding power, and a character that proves religion is not a cold morsel but a blazing fire. No secret believer will do. If you have Christ in your heart, the truth must come out. Let it come out in kindness, not in bitterness, for we war against error, not against men.

Cry out to God that He would reclaim their senses. The backslider’s return is hard, but the Father runs to meet the penitent. The eleventh-hour labourer receives the same penny. Do not imagine the case is beyond hope. But remember: you will not sustain the reality of your own Christian life, let alone win others, without continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Abide in Him. Let His will be your sole desire, even if that will means standing in a shrinking remnant while the world applauds the lie. The battle is the Lord’s. Stand firm, speak clear, love much, and leave the rest to Him who shall yet make truth victorious.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is indeed woe to those who now say, “Woe to thee, O Mammon, and to him that has thee not,” even in jest, for they set at nought the threat of God: “Ye cannot serve two masters.” Paul plainly calls the covetous man an idolater, yet you see these deceived ones racing after every new falsehood as if selling their souls. They worship not the Creator but their own insatiable appetite, a thing worse than idolatry. They defend an object full of impiety, excusing what God condemns. Let no one deceive you with empty words about changing genders or redefining marriage as if Christ’s bride can be defiled; because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. The fornicator, the unclean, the covetous man, which is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

What you witness is a falling away, a poisoning of minds, as the apostle spoke of the man of sin, the son of perdition, who exalts himself against all that is called God, showing signs and wonders to lead astray even the elect if possible. Yet there remains a sure hope: Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them. He has no successor, so He can aid all who truly turn. But take heed: if some have tasted the heavenly gift, the forgiveness, and the powers of the world to come, and then fall away into this madness, it is impossible to renew them again by the laver of repentance, since they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh. Not that repentance is excluded, far from it!, but tears alone, like Esau’s, are not repentance if there is no genuine turning. He found no place for a change of mind, though he sought it carefully with tears, because his grief was worldly, not godly.

Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a repentance that brings no regret. It does not merely lament but condemns oneself for sin, so that the sinner hastens to the Redeemer. John came preaching, “Bring forth fruits meet for repentance,” not that people be punished, but that by condemning their own sins they might long for remission. The Church is a spiritual bath that wipes away stains of soul by its many methods of repentance. So pray for the deceived, but know that they must first come to a sense of their own wickedness. They must see that what they call progress is the apostasy of the Antichrist spirit, rejecting the Creator and setting up a creature of their own devising. Only then can they find a place of true repentance, not by empty words but by fleeing to Him who ever lives to save. Let no one soften this with soothing lies, for the inheritance of God is at stake.

I hear the distress in your words, watching a nation once grounded in principle drift toward ideas that openly defy God. It is painful to see so many embrace what Scripture plainly calls sin, and to see that embrace gain momentum. You are not wrong to grieve over this. Yet we must be careful that our sorrow does not lead us into a trap of our own making.

It is easy to believe that if we could just counter the right people, or scheme the right political strategy, we could rescue the country from itself. But that mindset is dangerous. It is the same mistake made when people try to "help" God accomplish His purposes through deception or worldly maneuvering. God does not need us to cut corners or sell our souls to oppose evil. His purposes stand. No political wave, no legislation, no cultural shift can thwart what He has decreed. When we start to think that the ends justify questionable means, we have already begun to walk in the very deception we lament. Hatred of a political figure cannot justify embracing ungodly alliances. If we sell our soul to counter him, we become just like those who have abandoned truth for a lie.

The real tragedy is deeper than any election result. Our society is acting out precisely what the Bible describes: when people refuse to retain God in their thoughts, He eventually gives them over to a reprobate mind. They exchange the truth of God for a lie. They call evil good and good evil. And what is worst of all, many have convinced themselves that God either does not see, does not care, or even approves of what they do. They have mistaken His patience for weakness, His long-suffering for endorsement. That is a terrifying deception. God is not mocked; whatever a person sows, that he will also reap. Those who sow to the flesh, whether sexual confusion, redefining marriage, or any other rebellion, will reap corruption. It is inescapable.

The only hope for any nation, or any soul, is genuine repentance. Not a sorrow that merely regrets consequences, but a turning away from sin and a turning back to God. God was listening in the days of old when calamity came, listening for someone to say, "What have we done?" He found none, because they held fast to their deceit. Today, God still listens. The question is whether we will simply rage against the darkness or fall on our faces and cry out for mercy. True repentance does not try to make deals with God or explain away sin. It confesses plainly, "I have sinned. I have been wrong. Turn me, and I will be turned." That must begin with us who bear His name. We cannot expect the world to repent if the church is filled with a form of godliness that denies its power.

Do not let your heart be consumed with the political cartoons, the legislative battles, or the rising influence of voices that hate God. Those things are symptoms of a deeper disease: a refusal to love the truth. Because people do not love the truth, God will allow them to believe the lie. That is a sobering reality. Pray for the deceived, yes, but remember that no amount of human effort can break the spell of a willing deception. Only the Spirit of God can bring conviction. And He may choose to bring a famine of hearing His word before He restores.

Hold fast to what you know: that God is sovereign, that He changes not, and that His grace is multiplied to those who know Him through Jesus Christ. The confusion around us is not new. It echoes Babel, where men tried to build a name for themselves and God scattered them with confusion of language. Today, the confusion is moral and spiritual, and God remains in control. Your task is not to fix the nation by your own scheming, but to walk in repentance, to pray without ceasing, and to keep your own garments pure. When the foundations are destroyed, the righteous can still trust in the Lord.

Let your heart cry be not only for the nation's return to sanity, but for your own deeper knowledge of God. The more you know Him, the more His peace will guard your heart, even as the world unravels. He is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance. That is why His judgment tarries. So use this time well. Speak the truth in love, live in uprightness, and leave the outcome to the One who sees the end from the beginning.
