Asking the Lord's help

We join you in bringing all of these burdens before the Lord, thanking Him that you continue to seek Him with persistence even when prayers seem hindered or requests are deleted. He hears and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask.

We pray for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need, for wisdom and encouragement, and for the Lord's anointing on every outreach, service, translation and sermon. We ask Him to take over completely at your work and in your church, to lead and guide and protect, to give you strength, love, favor and inspiration to do the work in a manner pleasing to Him, and to powerfully anoint your prayer gathering this Friday and every time you meet. May He raise up more prayer warriors, convict hearts where needed, and bring many to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

We also bring before our great High Priest the larger burdens you carry. He Himself became our High Priest to make reconciliation for us when we were enemies of God, and He has put in us the word of reconciliation. So we ask for persecuted Christians to be strengthened, for the unsaved to come to faith in Christ, for the peace of Jerusalem, for those suffering in war zones and calamities, and for abused children and all who are wounded. We ask for healing for those who are sick, for help with school and exams, for provision at work and for unity in the team and in the church.

You have asked for help with many conflicts, including those forgotten and those within the church. Scripture reminds us to cut out the root and there will be no fruit, for every conflict has its beginning in covetousness, envy or vainglory, and the one who plots against his neighbor first destroys himself. We pray that God will help you despise what is empty in this life and treasure what is above, that He will teach you to deprecate needless conflicts instead of rushing into them, waiting quietly for His time while standing nobly when you are called to stand. Where there is hurt, gossip, or sin that needs confronting, we ask Him to bring true conviction, forgiveness where you have spoken unwisely about others, and healing and reconciliation in a true way according to His holiness.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned, we pray for God's clear intervention and healing. We do not ask Him to bless what is outside His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and intimacy belongs within it, but we do ask Him to convict where there is sin, to heal soul wounds, to stop what is not of Him and is dysfunctional, and to turn hearts toward salvation, purity and wholeness. Where reconciliation is according to His will, we pray He will bring it in truth. Where separation is needed for holiness and health, we pray He will give courage and grace. For those who need a father's care, we ask Him to be their Father and protector, to rear and encourage and heal them.

Do not grow weary. The just shall live by faith, and we are not of those who draw back. Even when struggles feel severe and prolonged, remember that when the righteous are near the end of their conflicts, God sometimes allows the struggle to feel greater so that the gain may be greater, yet He makes even intolerable things tolerable because deliverance is near. He will keep you, encourage you greatly, defeat the works of the enemy, and fill the earth with His glory as you continue to trust Him. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our faithful High Priest, Amen.

Thank you for sharing so many deep burdens so honestly. Your heart for protection and breakthrough, for encouragement and wisdom, for the lost and the suffering, for healing and for reconciliation, is precious to the Lord. He hears every prayer, even those that have felt deleted or forgotten, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and His desire is to fill the earth with His glory.

You asked for anointing for outreaches, services, prayer gatherings and for preaching. That request is vital. Even Jesus as the Son of God ministered in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the Scriptures show that when the Spirit rests on a person there is a power and a dynamic that human words alone can never produce. It is difficult to describe, but it is real, and it makes the Word life changing. Like Stephen before the council, whose face shone as the Spirit rested on him, we need that same empowering to proclaim good news to the poor and to see lives transformed. I pray that the Lord will clothe you and those who serve with you in that anointing, that your words will be carried by His Spirit with clarity, love and authority, and that many will be saved as the gospel is preached.

You have brought many needs for healing, for bodies, minds and soul wounds, for children and for those you love. The Bible shows that the Lord heals in many different ways. Sometimes He touches and heals instantly, sometimes healing comes gradually as with the man at Bethsaida who at first saw men as trees walking, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word from a distance, sometimes through the slow processes He has built into our bodies which are no less divine because He created them. He also heals the inner person, the scars and wounds of the heart and mind, bringing wholeness where there has been deep hurt. The early church practiced calling for the elders to pray over the sick, anointing with oil in the name of the Lord, the oil being a simple symbol of the Holy Spirit at work, and God has been faithful to touch many through such prayer. At the same time there is mystery here that we must hold with humility. We do not understand why some are healed quickly and others are not, and Scripture shows that even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it but to give grace to endure. Matthew links the healing ministry of Jesus to the prophecy that He bore our infirmities and sicknesses, and He went about healing every sickness and disease, yet He remains sovereign in how and when He heals. We can therefore pray with strong faith for miracles, for help with school and exams, for quick recovery and for healing of soul wounds, while trusting His perfect wisdom and love for each person you named.

You also carry many conflicts and tangled relationships. This world is filled with conflict between peoples and within families and churches, and the news every day testifies to it. The good news we proclaim is the gospel of peace, that a person at war with God can have peace with God through Jesus Christ, and a person at war within can find peace within. For every strained or broken relationship you mentioned, and for those that are dysfunctional or outside of God's design, I pray that the Lord will bring deep conviction of sin, genuine repentance, and healing that leads to true reconciliation where it is right. For relationships that do not honor Him, I pray He will intervene to stop what is harmful, bring salvation and cleansing, and guide each person into purity and wholeness according to His will for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman and for all intimacy to be kept within that covenant. For the young ones who need a father, I pray the Lord will indeed be a Father to them, rear them, encourage them and set His mighty hand upon them. For hurts that you have caused by speaking about others, His forgiveness is ready when we confess, and He can turn even our failures into blessing as we walk humbly.

For all the other burdens you carry, for persecuted Christians, for those who do not yet know Jesus, for the peace of Jerusalem, for those suffering in war zones and calamities, for abused children, for wisdom and strength at work and for unity in your church and among your team, I pray the Lord will give you wisdom, strength, encouragement, love and favor, that He will guide your meetings, lead and protect you, and help you to do your work in a manner pleasing to Him. I pray He will speak to you as you prepare messages, taking over what feels difficult and making it a blessing to those who hear, and that He will raise up more people with a heart to pray and to praise.

Bring these needs continually before the Lord, and consider also asking mature believers to pray over those who are sick, anointing with oil in the name of Jesus as Scripture directs. He knows your weakness and your desire to be faithful. Cast all of your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and trust Him to answer each prayer according to His perfect knowledge and love. May the Lord protect you, give you breakthrough, defeat the works of the enemy, and fill you with encouragement in Christ.

In the name of Jesus I pray for you, for your household, for your church, and for every person and situation you have lifted up, that God's will be done, that Christ be glorified, and that His peace and healing rest upon you. Amen.

It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up every concern—whether for personal struggles, relationships, ministry outreaches, or the many global burdens you carry. We have prayed fervently for the Lord’s mighty hand to intervene in each situation, asking Him to sever every chain of darkness, bring conviction where it is needed, and pour out His healing and reconciliation in ways only He can.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas—whether through answered prayer, a sudden breakthrough, or a quiet peace that surpasses understanding—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage so many others who are standing in faith for similar needs. If, however, some of these burdens still weigh heavily on your heart, we want to continue standing with you. Please do not hesitate to post this request again, so we may persist in prayer, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it.

We are praying that the Holy Spirit would fill you with fresh encouragement, that the Lord would strengthen you in every weakness, and that His anointing would rest upon you as you step into the assignments He has prepared. May He grant you wisdom in every decision, favor in every relationship, and supernatural provision in every area of lack. We ask Him to surround you with His peace, to silence every voice of accusation or fear, and to remind you daily of His unfailing love.

As you continue to seek Him, may you experience His presence in deeper ways, and may your faith grow as you see His faithfulness unfold. We believe that the same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Christ from the dead, and set the captives free is working powerfully on your behalf. Keep pressing in, keep trusting, and know that we are still here, lifting you up before the throne of grace.
