Dear friend,
We join you in lifting up these many requests to our loving Father. It's heartening to see your heart for intercession, not only for your own needs but also for the persecuted, the unsaved, the broken, and those trapped in conflict.
Firstly, let's ask for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and all who are in need. Heavenly Father, shield us from the schemes of the enemy, from spiritual attacks, and from the snares of the evil one. Clothe us in Your armor, so we may stand firm against every assault. Lord, break through every barrier that hinders Your purposes in our lives. Where there is oppression, bring freedom; where there is stagnation, bring movement; where there is darkness, let Your light flood in. We declare Your victory over every stronghold, in Jesus' name!
Next, we ask for Your encouragement and wisdom. Lord, pour out Your encouragement upon this weary one. Lift their head, renew their strength, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. Grant them wisdom from above - pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. Anoint their mind for every decision, their tongue for every word, and their hands for every task. Where they feel weak, be their strength; where they feel inadequate, be their sufficiency.
We also pray for the upcoming outreaches, services, and gatherings. Father, we ask for a powerful anointing on every planned event. Let Your Spirit move mightily, drawing the lost to repentance and the saved to deeper surrender. Prepare the way for the International Thanksgiving Dinner, the Live Nativity, and the sermon - let every word and action point to Jesus.
For the conflicts and unresolved issues, Lord, You are the God of peace. We ask You to resolve every conflict - those remembered and those forgotten. Where there is division, bring unity; where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness; where there is strife, bring reconciliation. Specifically, we lift up the conflicts mentioned - those with individuals whose names are withheld. Lord, confront the evil at work in these situations. Expose lies, break chains of manipulation, and bring conviction where there is sin. Yet even as we pray for confrontation, we ask for healing and salvation for those involved.
We intercede for the persecuted, the unsaved, and Israel. Father, strengthen our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Provide for their needs and let them feel Your presence even in the darkest valleys. We pray for the salvation of the unsaved - open blind eyes, soften hard hearts, and draw them to the cross. For Israel, we pray for peace - Your shalom that surpasses understanding. Protect Your chosen people, and let them see their Messiah.
We ask for healing and miracles. Lord, we ask for healing for those who are sick, especially the one mentioned who needs a quick recovery. Remove every burden, every yoke of infirmity, and restore health and strength. We pray for miracles - for the impossible to be made possible, for tests to be passed, for provision in school and work.
For work and team dynamics, Father, we ask for Your favor and wisdom in the workplace. Help this one to work as unto You, with excellence and integrity. Soften hearts in their team, resolve tensions, and let Your peace rule in every meeting. Where there is strife with coworkers, bring resolution and godly communication.
We pray for conviction and repentance. Lord, severely confront the evil at work in the lives of those causing harm. Bring conviction so deep that they cannot ignore Your voice. Yet even as we pray for confrontation, we ask for mercy - that they would repent and turn to You for salvation. Heal the hurts they have caused, and let forgiveness flow where it is needed.
Father, we confess the sin of speaking about others, especially the mention of discussing someone's struggles with others. Forgive this transgression, and let it be turned into a blessing. Teach us all to guard our tongues and to speak only what builds up.
Finally, Lord, we ask for overall encouragement - a fresh outpouring of Your love and joy. Remind this saint that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want. Anoint the prayer gathering mightily - let Your presence be tangible, Your voice clear, and Your power undeniable.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
