We join with you in lifting up these requests to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is so important to come boldly to the throne of grace and to present our petitions to God, knowing that He hears us and acts according to His will. Let us address each part of your request, guided by the Word of God.
Firstly, we seek the Lord's extra strong protection and breakthrough for you, for us, and for all in need. In Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB, we are reminded to "be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." We pray that God will surround you with His mighty angels and grant you the strength to overcome any challenges you face.
Next, we ask for the fire of the Holy Spirit for you, for us, for our church, and for all others seeking His presence. In Acts 2:3-4, WEB, we read, "Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak." We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you afresh, igniting a passion for God and empowering you to live a life that glorifies Him.
Regarding the convictions and help needed for the individuals and situations you mentioned, we lift them up in prayer as well. It is important to understand that Jesus is the only intercessor. There is no other name given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB states "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Make sure to have faith in Jesus Christ and if you have not accepted Jesus as your savior, make sure to do so. First, confess your sins and acknowledge them. Then believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead for you sins.
For the class trip and your work and trip, we pray for God's guidance, protection, and favor. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that God will direct your steps and grant you wisdom in every decision you make.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord and trusting in His promises. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, we are told, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
