Asking prayers on the behalf of the ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We lift up this situation with a heart full of faith, standing on the truth of Luke 9:24, which reminds us, "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the very essence of the Gospel, surrendering our will to Christ so that we may find true life in Him. We join you in praying for the landlord, that his heart would be softened and opened to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we find eternal life, and it is our deepest desire that this man would come to know the love and redemption that comes from a personal relationship with our Lord.

We rebuke any darkness or unclean spirits that may be influencing this situation, declaring that the light of Christ drives out all darkness. As 1 John 1:5 tells us, "This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." We stand firm in the truth that no power of darkness can withstand the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that the landlord would experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading him to repentance and faith in Christ. May he come to understand that true life is found only in surrendering to Jesus, who said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Father, we ask that You would move powerfully in this situation. Soften the landlord’s heart to receive Your Word and Your love. Break any chains of pride, hardness, or deception that may be keeping him from You. We declare that Your mercy and grace are sufficient to reach him, and we trust in Your perfect timing. We also pray for wisdom and patience for those involved in this rental situation, that they would respond with grace and love, reflecting the character of Christ in all their interactions.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We trust that You are working even now to bring about Your perfect will in this matter. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You as a result of this situation. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

We’re lifting up your landlord right alongside you. It’s beautiful that you’re bringing this one man so intentionally to the throne of grace, entrusting his whole life into God’s hands. Your prayer was not just for a smooth rental situation but for his soul, and that kind of love mirrors the heart of Jesus.

We know the waiting can feel long when someone you see regularly still doesn’t know Him. Take heart: your quiet faithfulness and steady prayers are not wasted. Often the deepest shifts happen underground, long before we see the surface change.

We’re also reminded that you are not alone in this. Christ Himself ever lives to intercede, and right now many of us are adding our voices to yours. So in that confidence, we pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring this landlord before You. You see him fully, his story, his struggles, and everything that holds him back from surrendering to You. Draw him with kindness. Lead him to the point where he stops trying to save his own life and instead loses it gladly for Your sake. Give him a clear encounter with Your grace, and grant him true life in You. Strengthen this praying friend with peace as they wait, and let them see Your faithfulness unfold. In Your mighty name, Amen.

How precious is the petition you bring, praying for the landlord according to the very words of our Lord, “Whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” This is the heart of the Gospel, that a man must be stripped of all self-righteousness, all confidence in his own works, and fall helplessly upon Christ. You do well to plead that this man might so lose his life, that he might find it eternally in Jesus.

Let no thought enter your mind that your prayers are weak or that the case is hopeless. The Lord Jesus reigns over darkness; at His voice the unclean spirit must flee. He who holds the keys of death and hell can unlock the hardest heart. I read in your request a glorious confidence that His light expels all darkness. Hold fast to that! “No one can withstand Your mighty power,” you declare, and you speak truth. Salvation is of the Lord alone, from first to last. The eternal life you seek for this man is not a wage to be earned, nor a prize for the deserving; it is the gift of Divine mercy, bestowed by Jesus Christ upon every soul that trusts Him. “I give unto them eternal life,” He says, and none can pluck them from His hand. If the Eternal Spirit quickens him, the work is done, and done forever.

But let me press this upon you: do not merely pray and then fret. Lay hold on eternal life in your own soul afresh, and let that life be seen. A living faith in your own heart will be the best sermon before that landlord’s eyes. Show him what it is to lose your life for Christ’s sake, to count all things but loss, to live not for this fleeting world but for the world to come. While you pray, live as one who has already passed from death unto life, and let your joy in Jesus be an unspoken pleading. And oh, remember that the same Jesus who bids you pray is the true God and eternal life. There is no other name given under heaven whereby this man must be saved. Point him to the cross; tell him that, like the serpent in the wilderness, a look of faith will bring life. He cannot give his own life, it must be born from above. But the Lord is rich in mercy to all who call upon Him.

Take courage, then, and persist at the throne of grace. The Lord is faithful; He will not cast out your supplication nor forget His own promise. Pray, watch, and expect the arm of the Lord to be revealed. And when the victory comes, let it be to His praise, from whom all blessings flow.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a good and godly thing to pray for another's soul, especially for one who may be at enmity with you, for this very act of love benefits your own soul as well. You do well to call upon the name of our Lord Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Yet consider: you ask that the landlord give his life to Christ, lest he lose it. That is a prayer pleasing to God, but let no one think that a mere utterance of faith is sufficient. The Lord Himself said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father." Therefore, while you entreat God for this man, see to it that your own life proclaims the Gospel you desire him to embrace. Let your conduct be such that he may see your good works and glorify God. For nothing makes the Christian so admirable as lowliness of mind and a life at peace with all men.

You speak of declaring victory over your dwelling situation. But what is true victory? It is not the absence of conflict, but the patient bearing of wrongs, through which we gain fortitude, meekness, and deliverance from sins. If you have suffered any injustice, bear it with joy, knowing that this is the way of the cross. The cross is not a thing of shame but the very sign of our salvation, and it is through many tribulations that we enter the kingdom. Do not seek to overcome evil with contention, but overcome evil with good. Pray for the landlord from a heart free of anger, for he who does not know how to hate reaps ten thousand blessings for himself. Let your supplication be joined with a supply of the Spirit, which is given to those who walk in humility and love.

And when you pray for his conversion, do not cease to remind all who will hear that the night is far spent and the day is at hand. No one should postpone the putting on of Christ, for we know not what a day may bring forth. The wrath of God abides on those who do not believe and obey the Son, but to all who receive Him and walk in the light, He gives the right to become children of God. So let your prayer be earnest and continual, and let your life be a living sermon, that the landlord may see and desire the hope that is in you. For the salvation of one soul is worth more than any earthly comfort, and the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner who repents. May God grant him repentance unto life, and may your own faith shine ever brighter, that in nothing you be put to shame, but that Christ be magnified whether by life or by death. Amen.

The cry of your heart for your landlord echoes the very heart of God. The truth you’ve laid hold of in Luke’s Gospel is the unshakable foundation of all hope: whoever tries to cling to a self-directed life will lose it in the end, but whoever releases that grip and entrusts everything to Jesus will find real, eternal, indestructible life. That is the great exchange we all must make. We enter this world building our kingdoms on the shifting sand of self, but the Lord calls us to abandon that crumbling enterprise and receive a life hidden with Christ in God.

You’ve asked for prayer in Jesus’ name, and that name is our only plea. There is no other way, no other provision. The life God offers is not a reward we can earn or a trophy for good behavior. It is a gift, wrapped entirely in the person of His Son. The record is clear: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. This is not a harsh restriction but the most merciful provision, because in Jesus everything that separated us from God, sin, death, and darkness, has been dealt with forever.

We bring your landlord before the throne of grace now, not with hesitation, but with confidence in the One who is able to save completely. Lord Jesus, you are the light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never overcome it. By the sheer force of your resurrection life, you expel every shadow of spiritual death. We ask you to shine into the heart of this man. Dismantle every proud argument that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Grant him the gift of repentance, that he might turn from the empty, self-centered existence that ends in destruction, and instead lose that old life to find the one that is truly life. Let him see that a life built around his own ambitions is a dead end, but a life crucified with Christ is the gateway to resurrection power. Make real to him the promise that he who has the Son has life.

We plead for your mercy and grace to overwhelm him. You did not spare your own Son but gave him up for us all; how will you not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Remove whatever blinds his mind and soften any hardness of heart, so that the message of the cross no longer seems like foolishness to him, but the very power of God. Let him be found in Christ, not clinging to a righteousness of his own, but receiving the righteousness that comes through faith, the righteousness from God that depends entirely on Jesus.

We thank you that you are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to your power at work within us. We entrust this rental situation and every practical detail into your hands, knowing you work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose. But above all, we entrust this man’s eternal soul to you. Bring him to the place where he confesses with his mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believes in his heart that you raised him from the dead, so that he will be saved. We ask this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
