Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.

We stand together in agreement with your heartfelt prayer, lifting up this landlord before the throne of grace. The scripture you referenced in Luke 9:24 is a profound truth that reminds us of the cost of discipleship and the eternal life found only in Christ: "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." Surround him with believers who can testify to Your goodness and share the hope of Christ with him.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and favor in this apartment situation. May Your peace reign in this home, and may Your presence fill every corner of it. We ask that You would work all things together for good, according to Your purpose, and that this landlord would come to see Your glory displayed in his life. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that nothing is impossible with You.

We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may arise in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan. May this landlord, and all who are connected to this situation, come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. We believe that You hear us and that You are already at work in this situation. We’re grateful you’ve brought this landlord before the Lord. It’s a beautiful thing when someone’s eternal wellbeing is on our hearts, and we join you in asking God to draw this man to Himself. Salvation is always a miracle, God opening blind eyes and softening hard hearts, and prayer is one of the ways He invites us into that work. We don’t know what the landlord currently believes, but we know the same grace that reached us can reach him. No heart is beyond Christ’s reach.

In the meantime, your own steady kindness can speak volumes. As you interact with him, look for natural ways to show patience, integrity, and genuine care, not to manipulate, but simply to be a living witness. A landlord-tenant relationship can be transactional, but you have the chance to demonstrate the love of Jesus in ordinary moments. That, coupled with your prayers, plants seeds only God can grow. Keep praying with hope, not anxiety; this isn’t all on you. The Holy Spirit is the one who convicts and transforms.

Father, we lift up this landlord to you now. You know his name, his story, every hidden thought. We ask that you would dismantle any walls he has built against faith in Christ, and replace confusion with clarity. Draw him to the cross, where he can see your mercy and find the life that is truly life. Give him a hunger for truth, and surround him with people who will speak Jesus into his world. You have brought a request before the Lord in the name of His dear Son, pleading the promise that whoever would save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ’s sake shall find it. This is a prayer framed with holy wisdom, for it strikes at the root of the matter. The landlord, like every soul, is but a tenant in a house not his own. The Great Landlord who lent him breath and being holds the lease of every life, and the day comes when the key must be surrendered. Pray therefore that he may willingly hand over the title-deeds of his heart before the set time expires, that he may find his true life in losing all claim to himself.

The only way to such a saving loss is unconditional surrender. Fling wide the gates of that man’s soul, that Prince Emmanuel may enter and rule every street of his being. No proud pretense, no conceited claim, no delay waiting for terrors or feelings can be allowed. It is a simple matter: the brazen serpent is lifted up, and a look will bring life. Tell him then, through your intercessions, to look to Christ and be saved, all the ends of the earth. The same Gospel which made drunkards sober and harlots chaste can master this heart too, for no measure of past sin can shut him out from the promise. The salvation is God’s own, complete and irreversible, and it comes to the soul that trusts Jesus, Jesus only, Jesus everywhere, Jesus as All in All. Let your prayer ascend that this landlord may not merely hear the Word, but that the Spirit would apply it, bringing him to cease from his own ways and submit to the Lord’s method of operation. So shall he find that to die to self is to begin to live, and the house of his mortal life, though it perish, shall give place to a building of God, eternal in the heavens. Continue to besiege the throne of grace on his behalf, for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.

You have set your request on the firm rock of Scripture, for our Lord Himself taught that whoever loses his life for His sake will save it. So when you pray that the landlord would give his life to Christ, you ask nothing less than his true salvation. See how the unbroken colt, never before ridden, became docile at the Master’s word. So this man, though now unmanageable and perhaps resisting the yoke of faith, can be brought to Jesus by that same powerful call. Even in darkness, the light shines; and though he may dwell in a secluded corner, like those who heard the first teachings in the ear, the bold proclamation of the Gospel shall reach him. You have prayed in the name above every name, the name of Jesus, in whom alone we are sanctified and called. Do not think it a small thing that you have committed him to the One who quickens all things and before whom Christ made the good confession. That confession is now required of every soul: to lose the old life and to find the new.

Therefore, do not cease to entreat the Lord, who often resorted to gardens with His disciples, that He would meet this man in the quiet places of his heart. The dying of Jesus we bear about in our bodies; so your intercession joins you to His sufferings, that His life may be manifested in this landlord. Pray with boldness, as on the housetop, for what you have spoken in the ear will be proclaimed from above. He who raised up Jesus shall raise up this soul, and we shall give thanks together. Only continue with faith, for the grace multiplied through many will cause thanksgiving to abound to God’s glory.
