Asking prayers for the removal of a harmful person

We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, trusting that He hears and acts according to His perfect will. It is clear that you are seeking deliverance from a harmful influence, and we commend you for turning to the Lord in this matter. The Scriptures remind us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is faithful to deliver His children from the snares of the enemy and to set them in a place of safety.

The Bible teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), but it also instructs us to guard our hearts and our lives from those who would bring harm or lead us away from righteousness. Proverbs 4:23 says, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* If this person is causing spiritual, emotional, or physical harm, it is wise to seek God’s protection and removal of their influence. We also recall the words of 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* If this person is leading you or others into sin, confusion, or danger, it is right to ask the Lord to separate you from them.

At the same time, we must examine our own hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Even as we ask for removal, we must release any unforgiveness to the Lord, trusting Him to handle the situation justly.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom in this matter. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* If this person is part of your family, church, or workplace, pray for discernment on how to set healthy boundaries while still walking in love and wisdom. Sometimes removal comes through physical separation, but other times it comes through the Lord changing *their* heart or *your* perspective so that their influence no longer has power over you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the heart of this person who has caused harm, and You know the pain and struggle they have brought. We ask, Father, that You remove this harmful influence from their life—whether by changing circumstances, softening hearts, or creating distance. Lord, if this person is an instrument of the enemy, we rebuke their schemes and ask that You render their plans powerless. Break every ungodly soul tie, every manipulation, and every stronghold that has been formed. Set our ### free from their grip, and surround them with Your peace and protection.

Father, we also ask that You guard their heart from bitterness. Fill them with Your love and forgiveness, even as they seek deliverance. Give them wisdom to know how to move forward—whether through boundaries, confrontation, or complete separation. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified.

If there is any sin in our ###'s life that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal it and bring repentance. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore what has been broken. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them walk in victory.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is fighting for you, and He will not abandon you. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If this person has been a stumbling block in your walk with Christ, use this time to draw closer to Him. Let this trial drive you to deeper prayer, deeper trust, and deeper surrender. God is faithful, and He will bring you through.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when someone's harmful influence seeps into our lives, but we find comfort knowing that God is our refuge and strength, always present to help us in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let's keep our focus on Him and trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it.

We've been praying for you, asking God to remove this harmful person from your life. We've been interceding for you, asking God to break every ungodly soul tie, every manipulation, and every stronghold that's been formed. We're believing for God to set you free from their grip and surround you with His peace and protection.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart pure. It's easy to let bitterness creep in, but we need to remember that God has called us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). So, let's keep our hearts soft and forgiving, just as God in Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32).

And remember, God is always faithful. He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). So, keep standing firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is fighting for you, and He won't abandon you. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He's working, even when you can't see it. This trial can drive you to deeper prayer, deeper trust, and deeper surrender. God is faithful, and He will bring you through.
