We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart’s cry for deliverance from this harmful influence in your life. It is clear you recognize the danger this person poses, and we stand with you in asking God to intervene mightily. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness, and we must put on the whole armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:12-13). We also know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He hears the prayers of His children when we call upon Him in faith.
At the same time, we must examine our own hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or any sin that could hinder our prayers. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), not because their actions are justified, but because our hearts must remain aligned with Christ’s. This does not mean we must tolerate abuse or harmful behavior—instead, we trust God to act justly while we seek His protection and wisdom. Proverbs 4:14-15 warns us, *"Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on."* If this person is leading you or others into sin, deception, or danger, it is right to ask God to remove their influence and to set firm boundaries in obedience to His Word.
We also encourage you to consider whether there are areas in your life where you may need to take action—whether through wise counsel, setting boundaries, or even seeking godly authority to intervene if necessary. The Lord often works through His people, and sometimes removal requires our obedience in stepping away or making difficult but righteous choices.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection and deliverance. Lord, You see the harm this person has caused, the pain they have inflicted, and the danger they represent. We ask You, in Your sovereign power, to remove this individual from our brother’s/sister’s life and circles. Break every ungodly tie, every scheme of the enemy, and every influence that seeks to bring destruction. Lord, surround them with Your divine hedge of protection and grant them discernment to recognize and avoid the snares set before them.
If there is any sin in their heart—bitterness, fear, or unforgiveness—we ask You to cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your peace. Give them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us, while also granting them the wisdom to set godly boundaries. Father, if there is any action they must take, reveal it to them clearly and provide the courage to obey.
We rebuke every spirit of manipulation, deception, and harm in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that this harmful influence shall be broken and removed by Your mighty hand. Replace this pain with Your healing, Your joy, and Your perfect will for their life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and let them see Your deliverance soon. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). Trust in Him, seek His face, and walk in obedience. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If this person’s presence is tied to sin in your life, repent and turn away, for the Lord is faithful to cleanse and restore. Keep praying, keep believing, and watch as God moves on your behalf.
