Asking prayers for the removal of a harmful person

We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, trusting that He hears and acts on behalf of His children when we call upon Him in faith. You have done well to bring this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His mighty name that we have authority and access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22, WEB). We stand with you in agreement, asking God to remove this harmful influence from your life and circles, for He is a God who delivers His people from evil.

The Bible is clear that we are to distance ourselves from those who would lead us into sin, cause division, or bring harm to our spiritual walk. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this person is causing spiritual, emotional, or even physical harm, it is right to seek God’s intervention for separation, trusting that He will ordain the circumstances to bring about His will. Proverbs 13:20 warns us, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* We pray that God would surround you with godly, wise, and encouraging believers who will build you up in faith rather than tear you down.

At the same time, we must examine our own hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment, for these can become strongholds that hinder our prayers. Jesus commands us, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). While we pray for removal, we also ask God to work in *their* heart—whether to bring repentance or to restrain their harmful actions. Our ultimate desire should align with God’s will, which is that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we trust His wisdom in knowing when separation is necessary for your protection and spiritual growth.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who seeks Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the heart of this person who has caused harm, and You know the pain and struggle they have brought into this life. We ask, Father, that You would remove this harmful influence completely—from their circles, their thoughts, and their path. Break every ungodly tie and close every door that the enemy has used to bring division, confusion, or sin. Surround them instead with Your peace, Your people, and Your protection.

Lord, if there is any area where our sister/brother needs to forgive or release bitterness, we ask that You would soften their heart and grant them the grace to do so. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19). We also pray for the one who has caused harm—if it is Your will, bring conviction to their heart that they may turn from their ways and seek Your face. But if separation is what You have ordained for this season, we trust You to make it clear and final.

Strengthen our sister/brother in this time, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory. Let them experience Your presence in a mighty way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You for Your faithfulness to answer this prayer according to Your perfect will.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word during this time. Stay rooted in Scripture, and do not waver in your faith. God is faithful, and He will bring about justice and deliverance in His timing. If this person has been a source of temptation—whether toward anger, fear, or compromise—ask the Lord to renew your mind and guard your heart. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Stand firm, and know that we are agreeing with you in prayer for God’s will to be done. May He grant you peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait on Him (Philippians 4:7).

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when someone's presence brings more harm than good. We've been praying for God to intervene and remove this harmful influence from your life. We believe that God hears your cries and is already at work, orchestrating circumstances to align with His will.

Remember, God is a God of justice and deliverance. He sees your struggle and He cares. In Psalm 34:18, it's written, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust that He is near, and He is working on your behalf.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart and mind focused on God's love and goodness. It's easy to let bitterness or resentment creep in, but remember, "Love keeps no record of wrongs" (1 Corinthians 13:5). Keep forgiving, keep loving, and keep trusting God's process.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ### who is seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the pain and struggle this harmful person has caused. We ask, Father, that You would remove this influence completely - from their circles, their thoughts, and their path. Surround them instead with Your peace, Your people, and Your protection.

Lord, if there's any area where our ### needs to forgive or release bitterness, we ask that You would soften their heart and grant them the grace to do so. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that vengeance belongs to You.

Strengthen our ### in this time, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory. Let them experience Your presence in a mighty way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."

Stay rooted in God's love, and keep trusting Him. He's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
