We join with you in lifting this burden before the Lord, knowing that He sees the depths of your heart and the harm this individual has caused. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 140:1-4 (WEB)**, *"Deliver me, Yahweh, from the evil man. Preserve me from the violent man: those who devise mischief in their hearts. They continually gather themselves together for war. They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent. Their poison is under their lips. Yahweh, keep me from the hands of the wicked. Preserve me from the violent men who have determined to trip my feet."* Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will act justly and swiftly on your behalf.
It is right to seek protection and separation from those who bring destruction, for **Proverbs 22:24-25 (WEB)** warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* The Lord does not desire for His children to remain in bondage to toxic influences, and we declare His power to break every ungodly tie that has sought to harm you. As **1 Corinthians 15:33 (WEB)** states, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* You are called to walk in holiness, and we pray that God would sever this connection completely, replacing it with godly relationships that edify and strengthen your faith.
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Have you forgiven this person, even as you seek their removal? **Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB)** tells us, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Forgiveness does not mean tolerating abuse or allowing harm to continue—it means releasing the bitterness to the Lord and trusting Him to execute justice. Ask Him to fill you with His peace and to guard your heart from resentment, for **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who seeks deliverance from a harmful presence in their life. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the pain and oppression this individual has caused. We ask that You, by Your divine power, remove this person from their life and circles—completely and permanently. Break every ungodly soul tie, every scheme of the enemy, and every influence that has sought to bring harm. Surround Your child with Your angels, Lord, and place a hedge of protection around them that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, we also ask that You heal the wounds this person has inflicted. Restore what has been stolen—peace, joy, confidence, and trust in You. Fill every void with Your presence, and let Your child walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won. If there is any unforgiveness in their heart, Lord, we ask that You soften it and replace it with Your love. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting that vengeance is Yours and You will repay.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Bring godly, life-giving relationships into their life, Lord—people who will encourage them in faith and walk with them in righteousness. Let this season of removal be a season of renewal, where Your child draws closer to You and experiences Your goodness in new ways.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. Strengthen Your child, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, beloved. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the enemy to triumph. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working even now to bring about your deliverance. If this person has caused you to stumble in any way, we urge you to repent and turn fully to the Lord, allowing Him to restore and redeem every area of your life. You are not alone—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord is with you. Walk in His peace, and wait expectantly for His victory.
