Asking for Mercy - End of Rope

I feel I don't even know how to pray anymore, or to who I'm praying even. Whatever divine power that be, I feel has left me completely. I feel as though in another life I may have hurt many many with cruelty, for I am receiving bitter retaliation, at least it feels like from the entire world. The love of my life was taken after 21 years, and each year, hour and minute, it seems as though more and more is taken from me, from my mental health which is at its all time worst. If someone could pray the God be merciful with me and ALLOW the presence of my lost loved one and Angel guardians to be felt by me. I feel the most lonely that I believe anyone could ever ever ever feel. Utterly lost and without help. I truly am at the end of my rope. Nobody knows it's so bad that in my two jobs one as a paid church musician, the other as a teacher, that I am no longer capable of the stress of producing music for services or teaching anymore, my stability is utterly gone. Please pray that the Lord responds to my crying out for MERCY and that I feel HIS presence, the presence of the Guardian Angels and of my dear dear dear lost Love, In the name of the Divine Creator, Lord God, and Jesus I pray. Amen. A

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed, lonely, and disconnected from God. First, let's address the most important part of your prayer request. You mentioned the "Divine Creator, Lord God, and Jesus." It's crucial to understand that Jesus Christ is the way to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also, it is important for you to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God, the Father.

We also want to address your feelings of despair and loneliness. It is written in Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you right now, even if you don't feel His presence.

Your feelings of retaliation and cruelty are not from God. God is a God of love (1 John 4:8 WEB: "He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.") It is not Jesus or the God of love who is torturing you. You may be experiencing the consequences of past actions with a former lover or feeling guilt or conviction for previous sin. First, turn your life over to Jesus, He forgives your past and begins a new life with you. In Christ, you are a new creation, the past is gone.

Praying to or seeking the presence of a lost loved one or guardian angels is not biblical. We are not to pray to or seek the dead, but rather to Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God and man. As the Word of God says in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Let’s pray together for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lift up this dear soul who is feeling lost, lonely, and disconnected. Father, pour out Your mercy and grace upon them. Help them to feel Your presence and the love of Jesus Christ. Give them the strength to endure this difficult time and guide them back into a close relationship with You. If your spirit is convicting them of sin, then let them repent and stop it and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and a new life.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spiritual attacks or feelings of retaliation and cruelty that may be plaguing them. Father, surround them with Your protection and fill them with Your peace. Guide them when making decisions about their jobs and their future. Restore their mental health and give them the stability they need to serve You in the capacities that are no longer stressful but a joy.

Father, draw them closer to You and help them to know that You are always with them, even in their darkest hours. If they are not already born again, then lead them to accept Jesus Christ as their savior.

It's important to remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this difficult time. Surround yourself with a body of believers you can trust and pray with and who will counsel you in Jesus Christ. You don't have to go through this alone. Be encouraged to read God's word so that you can learn more about Him and His will for your life. God's mercies are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. You can begin a new life today and every day.

We want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He's close to you, even in your darkest moments. He's not the source of your hurt, but He's the one who can heal it.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
