Ask for God's protection and justice.

Disciple of Prayer
I have been leaving in Ukraine for over 20 years, studied, married.I an the permanent resident here, but they going to cancel it. I filled the lawsuit, but they may not allow me stay during the court. I pray and cry for justice, I am losing everything that I love and precious to me. Please pray for me, may God bring the justice and protect me.

We stand with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your situation before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The pain of facing the loss of what you have built, loved, and called home for over two decades is not lost on us. We recognize the weight of uncertainty and the fear of injustice, and we declare that the Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your life has value in His eyes.

The Bible assures us that God is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). He is the ultimate Judge, and His justice will prevail, even when earthly systems fail. We rebuke the spirit of injustice and oppression that seeks to uproot you from your home and strip you of your residency. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up your lawsuit before the Lord, asking that He would guide the hearts and minds of those in authority. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would turn the hearts of the judges and officials involved in your case to act with fairness, wisdom, and mercy. May your case be heard with clarity, and may the truth prevail. We ask that the Lord would grant you favor in the eyes of those who hold power over your situation, and that He would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:7).

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your ultimate trust in the Lord, not in earthly systems or residency statuses. While this battle is deeply personal and painful, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your true home, your eternal citizenship, and your unshakable foundation. Philippians 3:20 reminds us, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." No matter the outcome of this situation, your identity in Christ is secure, and His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray for your marriage as well, that it would be a source of strength and unity during this trial. May you and your spouse lean on one another and on the Lord, finding comfort in His promises. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, "A triple-braided cord is not quickly broken," and we pray that your marriage would be strengthened as you walk through this valley together.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Ukraine. Lord, You see the injustice he/she is facing, and You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about a resolution that reflects Your righteousness and mercy. Protect him/her from harm, both physically and emotionally, and grant him/her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround him/her with Your presence, and let him/her feel Your love in tangible ways.

Lord, we ask that You would guide the legal process and soften the hearts of those who hold authority over this case. Let truth prevail, and let Your justice be done. If it is Your will, restore his/her residency and allow him/her to remain in the home he/she has built. But above all, Lord, we pray that You would draw him/her closer to You through this trial. May this season of hardship refine his/her faith and deepen his/her trust in You.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to take root in his/her heart. Fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your peace guard his/her heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind him/her that You are his/her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen him/her with Your might, and let him/her rise above this challenge with unwavering faith.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as he/she navigates this difficult season. Give him/her the words to say, the steps to take, and the courage to stand firm in the face of adversity. May he/she be a light in this darkness, reflecting Your love and grace to those around him/her.

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. We know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this storm, we declare that You are in control, and we place our brother/sister’s life and future in Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the anguish in your words. The life you have built over twenty years, the home, the marriage, the permanent place you once thought you had, is now under threat, and the uncertainty must be suffocating. It is no small thing to stare at the possible loss of everything precious to you. The tears are understandable, and we do not take them lightly.

You are not alone in your crying out. We are joining you, asking the Lord who sees every hidden injustice and protects the vulnerable to act on your behalf. Even as the legal process unfolds and the future hangs in the balance, we pray that His justice will prevail and that He will keep you secure, whatever the court decides.

In the meantime, please do not shoulder this weight by yourself. Seek out a trustworthy local advocate who understands the residency laws, a good lawyer or legal aid organization can make an immense difference. And if you have a church family nearby, let them surround you with practical support and prayer. You are not meant to carry this alone, and even the smallest acts of care can remind you that God has not abandoned you.

We pray now: Father, we lift up our sister in Ukraine. She has poured two decades of her life into this place, and now she faces losing so much. Grant her the justice that only You can bring, and protect her in the waiting. Quiet her fear with Your steadfast love, and give her clear guidance for each next step. In the strong name of Jesus, amen.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.Your prayers and the words of God have warmed my soul. Knowing there are righteous people praying for me and hearing my cries has strengthened my faith

The Lord is a God of justice, and He will not slumber nor sleep while His children cry out. In the courts of men, you may be denied; in the tribunals of earth, you may find no advocate; but there is a Throne higher than all earthly powers, and a Judge who cannot be bribed or swayed. Commit your way to Him, and He will bring forth your righteousness as the light. Yet remember this: the soul’s deepest need is not a paper granting residence, but a title clear to the city whose builder and maker is God. If you have fled to Christ, then even if you lose all that you love, home, country, and those dear to you, you have not made a fearful loss. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? But if your soul is anchored in Jesus, the loss of temporal things cannot shipwreck you eternally.

When human justice fails, look to the place where Justice itself was satisfied, not by ignoring sin, but by exhausting its penalty upon the Substitute. Go with your accusations to Gethsemane; stand with Justice before the cross. See the Son of God in agony, His head crowned with thorns, His garments soaked in blood, crying out beneath the wrath that should have been yours. Justice itself now pleads for the believer’s pardon, for if Christ has paid the debt, God would be unjust to demand payment twice. If you are in Christ, you may say boldly, “Justice, thou hast punished all my sins in Him.” And if your conscience still writhes under the uncertainty of your earthly plight, fix your eyes there until the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, garrison your heart.

Yet do not think that this spiritual comfort severs the nerve of your plea for temporal protection. The same God who keeps your soul is the God who commands His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. But mark, it is “in all your ways,” meaning the ways of childlike trust and obedience. Walk uprightly; let your cause be pleaded without malice or despair. He who travels on the King’s Highway of faith and righteousness is under the King’s protection. If it be God’s will, no deportation order can stand against His providence; if He ordains that you pass through the fire, He will be with you in it, and the flames shall not kindle upon you. He is slow to anger even toward His foes; how much more will He hear the cries of those who call Him Father?

Therefore, cease from the bitterness of panic, and lay your supplication before the Lord with tears that mingle trust with sorrow. The verdict of earthly judges may go against you, but the Justifier is seated in heaven, and He will not at all acquit the wicked, but He will fully and freely acquit all who take refuge in His Son. Lose not your hope; even if you lose your home here, you have a permanent dwelling, an inheritance incorruptible, reserved in heaven for you. Cry for justice, and wait upon the Lord. He shall bring it to pass.
