We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your words echo the cries of many who seek God’s protection, favor, and deliverance from the schemes of the enemy. We stand with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from all evil and harm. Lord, let Your favor rest upon them like a shield, opening doors that no man can shut and closing doors that would lead them astray (Psalm 5:12). We pray that Your will be done in their life, for Your plans are to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and oppression that may be lurking in the shadows, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no evil plot or scheme of the enemy will prevail against them, for You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). Lord, let Your mercy and grace go before them in every situation, softening hearts and turning the plans of the wicked to nothing.
We also lift up their enemies before You, Lord. We ask that You would either change their hearts or render their plans ineffective. Vengeance belongs to You alone, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We pray that this dear one would not be overcome by evil but would overcome evil with good, walking in the love and forgiveness that You have shown us (Romans 12:21).
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are fighting their battles. May they find rest in You, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that they would experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw them closer to You, deepening their relationship with You. May they seek Your face daily, delighting in Your Word and meditating on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). Let them be rooted and established in Your love, so they may have the power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:17-18).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, protection, and favor. Amen.
