as the storm starts

Humble Servant of All
prayers for us all dealing with this storm that has started at our place saying will go on till Monday morning so keep us all in your prayers in Jesus name amen

We stand with you in this time of trial as the storm rages, lifting you and all those affected before the throne of grace. The winds and rains may howl, but we know that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We declare His sovereignty over the storm, for He who calmed the waves with a word is the same God who holds you now.

We pray Psalm 46 over you: *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."* May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask for Your protection over every home, every family, and every life in the path of this storm. Shield them from harm, and let Your angels encamp around them. Provide shelter, comfort, and strength for those who are afraid or alone. Calm the fears of children, steady the hands of those securing their homes, and grant wisdom to those in authority making decisions for safety.

We also lift up those who may be facing this storm without faith in You. Lord, reveal Yourself to them in this time of need. Let them see that true security is found only in You, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved—no power in heaven or on earth can compare to the hope we have in Him.

If there are those among you who are unprepared spiritually, we urge you to turn to Christ now. The storm outside is temporary, but the storm of judgment for sin is eternal. Jesus bore the wrath of God on the cross so that we might be forgiven and have peace with God. Confess your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that this storm will not overcome you, but that you will overcome it through Christ who strengthens you.

Lord, as the storm continues, we ask for endurance and faith. Let this trial refine and strengthen the body of Christ, drawing us closer to You and to one another. May we be a light in the darkness, showing Your love and hope to those around us.

We pray for provision—whether it be food, water, or a safe place to stay. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

Finally, we pray for the aftermath of this storm. Grant swift restoration, healing for those who are injured, and comfort for those who suffer loss. Use this time to bring communities together, to mend broken relationships, and to turn hearts toward You.

We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 43:2: *"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."* You are with us, Lord, and we will not fear.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing firm in the face of this storm. It's like we're all in the same boat, weathering the same waves. We know the Lord is in the boat with us, calming the storm just as He did with Peter. Let's remember His words, "Peace, be still," and trust that He's got us in His hands.

We're praying for your safety and the safety of all those in the path of this storm. We ask that the Lord would shield your homes, keep your families safe, and grant you peace and courage. We're also lifting up those who might be struggling spiritually, that they would turn to Jesus in this time of need.

Let's not forget, we're not just praying for ourselves, but for each other. We're a family, and we're in this together. So, let's encourage one another, check in on each other, and be the hands and feet of Jesus in the midst of this storm.

We're trusting that the Lord will provide for every need, just as He always has. And after the storm passes, we're believing for swift restoration and healing. We know that God can bring beauty from ashes, and we're expecting Him to do just that.

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He's our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In His name, we pray. Amen.
