🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, 🐑Pastors, 🌾Evangelists, ⛪️Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even 🏛️Government, EVEN "ENEMIES"

🙏We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

🛫 Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺

We join you wholeheartedly in this prayer for the whole armor of God and we thank you for laying out this biblical pattern so clearly. We agree that it is right and according to Scripture to first submit ourselves to the Lord and put on His armor by faith, just as our Lord Jesus Himself overcame the devil in the wilderness, and that from that place of victory we can then stand for others.

We see the wisdom in what you shared about first placing the oxygen mask on ourselves. Scripture calls us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, Eph 6:10, and to take up the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, Eph 6:13. Our Lord Jesus indeed showed us the pattern when He was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, Matt 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13, and He overcame by the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Then He could say to us with authority, In the world you have trouble, but cheer up, I have overcome the world, John 16:33. We overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil not in our own strength but in His.

We stand with you to pray this armor over ourselves first, girding our waists with truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, having our feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, taking up above all the shield of faith with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, Eph 6:14-17. We receive this by faith, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast, Eph 2:8-9, and without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, Heb 11:6, and whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, Mark 11:24, yet let him ask in faith, without any doubting, James 1:6.

Then with perseverance we pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints, Eph 6:18. We agree to pray this covering over our families, over leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, and all believers, that utterance may be given to us that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News, for which we are ambassadors, Eph 6:19-20, and that we would speak boldly as we ought to speak.

We also affirm your heart to pray even for government and even for enemies. This is fully biblical. We are exhorted to make petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2. And our Lord commands us, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matt 5:44. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12, and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Cor 10:4. Even those who oppose us need the same armor and the same salvation.

So we pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we put on Your whole armor by faith. We gird ourselves with Your truth, for Your Word is truth, and we reject every lie of the enemy. We put on Your breastplate of righteousness, for we have no righteousness of our own but we are made the righteousness of God in Christ. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, and we ask You to make us ready to go and to stand in peace. We lift up the shield of faith and we quench every fiery dart of doubt, accusation, fear, and temptation. We take the helmet of salvation and we rest in the assurance that we are Yours, saved and sealed. We take the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, and we wield it as Jesus did, with confidence and obedience.

We now by faith place this same armor upon our families, upon every leader and pastor and evangelist, upon every church and ministry partner, upon all believers everywhere, upon those in government, and even upon our enemies, that You would open their eyes and draw them to salvation and to truth. We pray for boldness for all Your saints to proclaim the mystery of the Good News without fear. Keep us watchful and persevering in prayer in the Spirit. Let us having done all, still be found standing, strong in the Lord and in the power of Your might. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will and that You reward those who diligently seek You.

We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our victory, amen.

We are grateful for the way you are lifting so many before the Lord, beginning with yourself and your family and then widening to leaders, pastors, churches, ministry partners, government and even enemies. That order you described matters, wanting to be grounded and submitted yourself first before carrying others.

Your picture of the oxygen mask is a wise one. When we are steadied in the Lord ourselves, we can intercede for others with more clarity and endurance, not from striving. With a list as wide as yours it is easy to feel you must cover everyone thoroughly every time and then feel you have fallen short. The Lord hears steady, simple prayers over time, and He does not measure your faithfulness by how much you can hold in one sitting.

One thing that has helped others who pray in this broad way is to keep a gentle rotation. You might linger on one aspect of His armor for yourself in the morning and then carry that same focus as you pray for one of the groups on your heart that day. Keeping a short written list of those groups can make it easier to return to them without carrying the whole weight at once.

Father, we thank You for this heart that wants to walk closely with You and to stand firm in Your strength. We ask You to cover them and their family today, to renew their mind and give them rest as they seek You. Work in each leader, church and community they are lifting to You, and guide their prayers day by day. Keep them near to You and faithful in what You have given them to do, in Jesus' name, amen.

It is well that you have sought the whole armor of God, for to be a Christian is to be a warrior and this world is a battlefield. Your desire to put on this armor first for yourselves and then for others is according to the pattern of our Lord, who overcame the devil in the wilderness for His own sake before He overcame the world, the flesh and the devil for the sake of His people, and it is according to wisdom, for we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might ourselves before we can stand for others.

You ask rightly, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

See then how gracious is the provision. Having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all take the shield of faith with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. This sword is of noble origin, for it is the sword of the Spirit. It has its properties given it by the Spirit of God, and the Holy Spirit will always espouse the cause of truth against error, of holiness against sin, of Christ against Satan. Fight despondency and despair and every temptation with this one weapon, the word of God.

And remember this, that if you would be imitators of God as beloved children, you must first be His children. That is already accomplished for every soul that is in Christ, for you could not make yourselves children of God, but He has done it for you. Beloved, now are we the sons of God. Holiness must be spontaneous or it is spurious, springing out of relationship to God, and we have not to look abroad for power to be holy, for the Spirit of God abides in us and works in us. He is the Spirit of holiness and none can better promote our holiness or teach us to imitate God.

So I join my prayer with yours. May the Lord clothe you, your families, your pastors and evangelists, your churches and ministry partners, and all the saints with this armor, applied by faith, for as salvation is received by faith, so every promise is received in the same manner by them that believe. May He grant utterance that you may open your mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel. And may He in His sovereign grace, which is free as the air we breathe and glorious in its freeness, extend His mercy even to those in government and to those you call enemies, that they also might be accepted in the Beloved, for out of Christ we are accursed, but in Christ never condemned. For to be accepted in the Beloved is to be accepted of the great Father Himself, whose name is Jehovah, and when God delights in men He gives them the desires of their hearts.

May you be kept praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, and may the Lord keep you standing, having done all, to stand, to the praise of the glory of His grace in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request to be clothed with the armor of God is good and according to Scripture, and I join you in this prayer.

You have asked well to begin with yourselves. As you noted, our Lord first overcame the devil in the wilderness before He went forth to overcome the world for our sake, and it is fitting that we first be fortified ourselves before we seek to help others. We are told to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and to put on the whole armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness. Knowing his evil art, we must be fenced on every side with this armor, so that we may remain unconquered and quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Therefore let us pray in this way, with understanding and with faith. We gird our waist with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation which is in Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. And we do this praying at all seasons in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, watching with perseverance.

In that same spirit we pray not only for ourselves and our families, but with supplication for all the saints, for pastors and evangelists, for churches and ministry partners, and for all believers, that utterance may be given to them to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel. We pray this without wrath and without doubting, with holy hands and a clean heart, for the Holy Spirit does not dwell where anger and malice remain. Let us lay aside all bitterness as we pray.

For those in government and even for those who consider themselves our enemies, we do not wrestle against them as flesh and blood, nor do we ask God to bless what is contrary to His Word. We pray as Scripture commands, that God would have mercy on them, restrain evil, establish justice, and bring them to repentance and to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We pray that the gospel which has been preached to every creature under heaven would be heard by them also, and that they would turn from darkness to light. In this we show the boldness of those who bear the cross, speaking the truth with gentleness and not with harshness, so that none may impute our words to passion but to love.

May the Lord who gave testimony to the word of His grace grant you to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Continue in prayer with perseverance, and may He give you grace to help in time of need, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
