Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

“Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.

We join you wholeheartedly in this prayer for the whole armor of God and we thank you for bringing this comprehensive and scriptural request before the Lord with such faith and boldness.

We agree that we are in a spiritual battle and that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. We praise God that He has not left us unaware of the enemy's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, but has given us His Word which is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16, and His Holy Spirit who will teach us all things, John 14:26.

We stand with you in submitting ourselves therefore to God and resisting the devil so he will flee from us, James 4:7, and in resisting him steadfast in our faith, 1 Pet 5:9. We agree that we must be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might and put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Eph 6:10-11. We love your understanding that we must first apply this armor to ourselves, following the pattern of our Lord who Himself overcame the devil in the wilderness with the Word, Matt 4:1-11, before He overcame the world for our sake, for He says I have overcome the world, John 16:33, and that having done all to stand, we then stand with supplication for all the saints, Eph 6:18.

We also affirm your heart to pray not only for ourselves and our families, but for our leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, and even for government and even for our enemies. This is fully aligned with the will of God who desires us to offer petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2, and who commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, Matt 5:44, and to be gentle toward all, in meekness correcting those who oppose us, if perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to do his will, 2 Tim 2:25-26.

So together we pray, Father, thank You for Your provision and Your power. We put on Your whole armor by faith, for without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to You, Heb 11:6, and faith comes by Your Word. We gird our waists with truth, for Your Word is truth and will not pass away, Matt 24:35. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, for we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, ready always to go and preach. Above all we take up the shield of faith with which we quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. We take the helmet of salvation, assured of our salvation which is by grace through faith and not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, Eph 2:8, and we take the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watch with all perseverance for all the saints.

We pray this over ourselves, over our households, over our pastors and churches and all ministry partners, over all believers, over those in government, and even over those who consider themselves our enemies, that You would draw them to salvation through Jesus Christ. And we pray that utterance may be given to us and to all Your people, that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News as we ought to speak, Eph 6:19-20. We ask that You help us to stand firm having done all, to stand, Eph 6:13-14, and that by faith and patience we may inherit the promises, Heb 6:12.

We thank You that Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, Phil 2:9-10, and that whatever we ask in His name You will do, John 14:13-14. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer and the way you are lifting so many before the Lord, starting with yourself and your own family, then pastors and churches and ministry partners, and even extending to government and those you would call enemies.

That wide, steady intercession matters. It reflects a heart that wants to love well and to stand firm, not in your own strength but in what God provides. We hear too how seriously you take the reality of spiritual opposition without wanting to live focused on it. It helps to keep that balanced perspective, not dismissing the battle and not becoming preoccupied with it either, but simply staying close to Jesus day by day.

One thing that has helped many who pray like you do is to think of putting on the armor less as a single moment and more as daily training. Like preparing for a long run, small faithful practices over time shape us. Continuing to pray consistently, often with a few other believers who can persevere with you, keeps that watchfulness alive without wearing you down trying to do it all at once.

Thank you for letting us join you in this.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister who is seeking You first and then lifting so many others. We ask You to strengthen them, guard their family, encourage pastors and churches, and give wisdom to leaders. Draw even those far from You toward Your mercy, and give Your people boldness and peace as they speak of Jesus. Keep this one rooted and steady in Your care today. In Jesus' name, amen.

We do join with you in this prayer and take up with you the whole armor of God as the Word directs in Ephesians six.

It is a needful prayer, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, and therefore we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We thank God with you that He has not left us unaware of the enemy's methods, but has given us His Word and His Holy Spirit to instruct us, and that He has provided a complete armor wherein we may stand in the evil day and having done all to stand.

We pray as you have prayed, first that we ourselves may be girded about with truth, for the Gospel is the truth of God and reveals Christ who is the image of God, and that truth held in the heart by the teaching of the Spirit keeps a man when opposition and persecution would shake him. We ask the Lord to cover us with the breastplate of righteousness, even the righteousness of Christ imputed and imparted, and to shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, for the glorious gospel of the blessed God both gives peace of conscience through the atoning blood and makes us ready to publish that peace to every creature. We take up the shield of faith whereby we may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, that we may not merely search the Word alone but take everything we find there to God and lay hold upon Him through His promises in Christ.

And having thus prayed for ourselves as Christ first overcame the tempter in the wilderness for His own sake before He overcame for ours, we do now with perseverance and supplication in the Spirit pray for all the saints. We ask the Lord to clothe our families, our pastors and evangelists, our churches and ministry partners, and all believers with this same armor, that they may stand firm against the wiles of the devil and inherit the promises by faith and patience.

We pray also for those set in government, that God would grant them wisdom and restraint and that His truth might have free course among them. And for those we might call enemies, we pray as you have rightly entreated, not that God would bless them in any way that is contrary to His Word, but that He would show mercy and grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, that the god of this world who has blinded their minds lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine upon them might be rebuked, and that they might be delivered from the snare of the devil and brought to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

We ask further that utterance may be given unto all who preach and witness, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, not in mere pathos or eloquence of speech, but in the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. May the Lord who is King send forth His royal proclamation by His servants, and may sinners take hold of God through that gospel which publishes salvation to the most ungodly.

Hear us, O Lord, and teach us Your statutes, and keep us watching unto prayer, that whether on the hill or in the valley we may prove that You are God over all and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church. We ask this in the authority of the name of Jesus, who has all power in heaven and in earth, and whose Word shall not pass away. Amen.
