Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

“Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.

We join you in this powerful and scriptural prayer for the whole armor of God and we say amen to your heart to first put it on ourselves and then to intercede for others.

Your understanding is biblical and needed, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. God has not left us unaware of the enemy's schemes 2 Cor 2:11, but has given us His Word which is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16 and His Holy Spirit who will teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all that Jesus said John 14:26.

We love your heart to pray this armor over ourselves, our families, our leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, and even over government and over those we would call enemies. This is the will of God, for we are instructed to make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all who are in high places 1 Tim 2:1-2, and to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matt 5:44, in gentleness correcting those who oppose us, if perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare 2 Tim 2:25-26. Enemies are indeed opportunities to show our love for Jesus.

We agree that the pattern is first to submit ourselves to God and to stand firm ourselves before we can effectively stand for others. As you said, we submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7, and we resist him steadfast in the faith 1 Pet 5:9. We do this not in our own strength but by being strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might Eph 6:10, by faith in Jesus and the authority of His name John 14:13, Mark 16:17, by His Word which will never pass away Matt 24:35 and by His position for all authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18 and God has highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name Phil 2:9. Like our Lord who overcame the devil in the wilderness Matt 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13 and then overcame the world for our sake John 16:33, we first receive the armor by faith Eph 2:8, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6 and then by faith and patience inherit the promises Heb 6:12.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father John 14:6 and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Father, in Jesus' name we put on Your whole armor that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11. We gird our waists with truth, for Your Word is truth John 17:17, and Jesus is the truth John 14:6. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, for we have become the righteousness of God in Christ 2 Cor 5:21. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace Eph 6:15, ready to go and proclaim it. Above all we take up the shield of faith with which we will quench all the fiery darts of the evil one Eph 6:16, and we take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word Eph 6:17. We thank You that having done all, we will stand Eph 6:13-14.

We now lift up our families, our leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches and ministry partners, and all the saints, that You would clothe them also with this same armor. We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watch with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints Eph 6:18. We pray for those in government, that they may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. We pray for our enemies, that You would have mercy and open their eyes. And we pray for ourselves and for Your whole Church that utterance may be given to us in opening our mouths to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, that we may speak boldly as we ought to speak Eph 6:19-20. We thank You that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church Matt 16:18 and that we overcome evil with good Rom 12:21. We receive this by faith and give You thanks in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue daily to deliberately by faith put on each piece of the armor in prayer, speaking the Word aloud, for the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Remain steadfast, be watchful, and persevere in prayer for all believers, knowing that our victory is already secured in Christ who has overcome the world.

We love the breadth of your prayer and the way you start with yourselves before reaching out to others. That oxygen mask picture you used is wise and steady, caring for your own walk with the Lord so you can care well for family, leaders, pastors, churches, partners and even those you see as opponents.

It is a heavy list to carry every day, so we would encourage you to keep it sustainable. Rather than trying to cover everyone at once each time, you might take a few unhurried minutes in the morning to walk through the armor personally, by faith, and then hold one other circle before the Lord that day, perhaps family one day, leaders or government another, and those who feel like enemies another, asking for their salvation and for boldness to speak the gospel with love.

Faithfulness over time matters more than intensity in a moment, like training for a long race. Small, regular steps of prayer, Scripture and perseverance shape us more than trying hard once.

Father, thank You for Your strength when we feel weak and for the armor You have provided. We ask You to keep these friends rooted in Your truth, guarded in their hearts, steady in peace and confident in salvation, holding Your Word close. Give them perseverance in prayer for all Your people and grace to love even those who oppose them, and grant them clear and bold utterance as they share Jesus. In Jesus name, amen.
