🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, 🐑Pastors, Evangelists, 🌾Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even 🏛️Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- 📖Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... 🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor 🤺 and stand against, stand, stand firm 🤺 against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

🛫Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺

We join with you in this powerful and scriptural prayer and we say amen to your desire to put on the whole armor of God not only for ourselves but for our families, our leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, and even for those in government and for our enemies.

We rejoice that you understand that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12, and that God has not left us unaware of the enemy's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11. He has given us His Word which is living and enduring, Matt 24:35, and His Holy Spirit who teaches us all things, John 14:26, so that we may stand firm.

We affirm with you the biblical order you have noted, to first submit ourselves to God, to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, Eph 6:10, and then to resist the devil firmly in faith, James 4:7, 1 Pet 5:8-9, trusting not in our own strength but in faith in Jesus and the authority of His name, John 14:13-14, His Word and His exalted position where all authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, and at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, Phil 2:9, and that as we do, he will flee from us. We also agree that by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, receiving everything from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6, not by works but by faith.

We are encouraged by your heart to pray for all people, which is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:1-3, who desires all people to be saved. We agree that we are to pray for those in authority in government that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:2, and even more beautifully, to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, Matt 5:44, Luke 6:27-28, remembering that enemies are indeed opportunities to show our love for Jesus by seeking their salvation, that God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth and they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, 2 Tim 2:25-26.

So together we pray, Father, thank You for Your Word and Your Spirit that instruct us and equip us. We submit ourselves to You afresh as Your church which Jesus promised the gates of Hades will not prevail against, Matt 16:18. We choose to be strong in You. We take up Your whole armor by faith that we may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand, Eph 6:13.

We gird our waists with truth, we put on the breastplate of righteousness, we shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, we take up the shield of faith with which we extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one, we take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Eph 6:14-17. We apply this armor to ourselves, to our households, to our pastors and evangelists and churches and ministry partners, to all the saints, and we even ask for Your mercy and protection over those in government and over our enemies that they might be saved. We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and remain watchful with all perseverance for all the saints, Eph 6:18.

And Father, we ask as Paul asked, that utterance may be given to us and to Your people everywhere that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News for which we are ambassadors, Eph 6:19-20, that we may speak as we ought to speak, with grace and truth and boldness, overcoming the world even as Jesus overcame the world, John 16:33, first overcoming the tempter in the wilderness by the Word, Matt 4:1-11, and then by His cross and resurrection.

We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We come in that precious and powerful name of Jesus and we trust You to hear and answer according to Your will. We will continue to stand firm by faith, watching and praying, giving You all the glory. Amen.

We were encouraged reading how widely you are carrying others before the Lord, from your own household to pastors and leaders and even those who feel like enemies. That steady, outward looking prayer is a real gift to the body of Christ.

Carrying that much can also feel heavy, as if you need to cover everyone perfectly every time. We have found it helps to think of prayer less as trying hard in one moment and more as training over time, like building strength day by day. Small, faithful steps add up more than getting every word just right.

One simple way to keep this sustainable is to continue praying for yourselves first as you are doing, and then give focused attention to one other circle each day. You might keep a short written list and pray for family one day, church leaders the next, and government or those who oppose the gospel on another. That rhythm can help you persevere with clarity without feeling stretched thin.

We are grateful for your faithfulness in standing in the gap for so many.

Father, we thank You for this one who desires to stand firm and lift others up. Strengthen them and their family, guard their hearts and minds in Christ, and give them boldness and grace as they speak of You. Draw each person they are praying for closer to Yourself and guide our leaders toward Your wisdom. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in this earnest supplication and give thanks for your desire to stand clothed in the whole armor of God. Your prayer is according to the mind of the Spirit, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, and only as we submit ourselves unto God and resist the devil firmly in the faith shall he flee from us.

It is well that you begin with yourselves, as our Lord first overcame the tempter in the wilderness for His own sake before He overcame for ours, and as you wisely note, the oxygen must be upon our own face before we can help another to breathe. The very soul of devotion lies in taking hold of God as a real Person, dealing with Him in firm confidence in His faithfulness. By faith we take the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. These are not shadows to be admired, but realities to be put on by faith, even as we receive salvation itself by faith.

We pray with you for your families, for pastors and evangelists, for churches and ministry partners, for all the saints, and indeed for those set in government, that utterance may be given to proclaim the mystery of the glorious gospel of the blessed God with boldness. That gospel is no hidden gospel to those who believe, for it reveals Christ who is the image of God, and publishes salvation to the most ungodly through His blood alone, for there is salvation in no other name. May the Lord make His people valiant for His truth in this evil day, standing firm upon the pillar and ground of the truth, having done all, to stand.

We also unite with you in praying for enemies, not that God would bless enmity against Him, for the carnal mind is enmity against God, but that He would be pleased in mercy to grant repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth, that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil and be brought to know Christ. May the Lord teach us all His statutes, keep us watchful with all perseverance and supplication in the Spirit, and establish our feet in an even place where we may stand and sing of His grace. We ask this in the authority of the name of Jesus, to whom all power is given in heaven and in earth, and in whose Word we rest, for heaven and earth shall pass away but His Word shall not pass away.
