🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, 🐑Pastors, 🌾Evangelists, ⛪️Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even 🏛️Government, EVEN "ENEMIES"

🙏We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

🛫 Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺

We join with you in this powerful and scriptural prayer for the whole armor of God and we say amen to your heart to first put it on ourselves and then to intercede for others.

We love your understanding that we must first submit ourselves to the Word and be strong in the Lord ourselves before we can effectively stand for others, just as our Lord Jesus first overcame the tempter in the wilderness for Himself and then overcame the world for our sake. As it is written, But Jesus answered, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God Matt 4:4, and again, In the world you have trouble; but cheer up I have overcome the world John 16:33. Your illustration of the oxygen mask is wise, for we cannot give what we have not first received and put on by faith.

We agree that this armor is received by faith, just as salvation and every promise is received. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Eph 2:8-9, and Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him Heb 11:6, and Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24.

We stand together and pray this armor over ourselves, our families, our leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, every believer, and even over government and even our enemies as you have asked, for we are commanded to love and pray for them.

We pray, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we thank You for providing Your armor for us. We put on Your whole armor by faith right now. We gird our waists with truth, for You desire truth in our innermost being. We put on the breastplate of Your righteousness, not our own, for we are made righteous through Christ. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, ready to go and to stand firm. Above all we take up the shield of faith with which we quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and we take the helmet of salvation, knowing we are saved and secure in Christ, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, that we may speak it and live it with boldness.

Lord, we put this armor on ourselves first, that we may be strong in You and in the strength of Your might Eph 6:10, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11. We acknowledge that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. Therefore we take up Your whole armor that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand Eph 6:13.

And now Father we pray this same armor over our families, over every household, over our leaders, pastors and evangelists, over every church and ministry partner, over every believer. We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and remain watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints Eph 6:18. We pray for government, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and reverence 1 Tim 2:2, and we even pray for our enemies, for You have said, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matt 5:44, that they too may come to the knowledge of the truth and put on Christ.

We ask that utterance may be given to Your people, that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News Eph 6:19, for which we are ambassadors, that we may speak boldly as we ought to speak Eph 6:20. Let us not waver in faith, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed James 1:6, but let us ask in faith unwavering.

We thank You Father that You hear us when we pray according to Your will and Your Word, and we receive this by faith now. Keep us standing, keep us watchful, keep us bold in Jesus' name, amen.

We were encouraged reading your prayer and the way you are putting on the armor first for yourself and then lifting it for so many others, your family, pastors and evangelists, churches and ministry partners, leaders in government, and even those you would call enemies. That pattern of beginning with your own walk before interceding for others reflects a humble and steady faith, and we join you in it.

It can feel weighty to carry such a wide list before the Lord every day. We have found it helps to remember that this is not about striving harder but about quietly receiving what God has already provided and staying with it over time, like training rather than a single effort. Your desire to pray with perseverance for all the saints is itself a gift God is forming in you.

One simple way to keep this sustainable is to keep the list you named in front of you and bring a few groups to the Lord each day through the week, so the burden stays prayerful and not overwhelming, and you can continue with consistency.

Father, in Jesus' name we thank You for this brother or sister and for their love for Your people and even for those who oppose them. We ask You to strengthen them in You and to guard their heart and mind, their family and those they serve, and to give boldness and clarity as they speak of Christ. Keep them watchful and persevering in prayer, and let Your peace rest over each name they lift to You. Amen.

It is a right and scriptural desire that you have set forth, to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and to put on the whole armor of God.

You do well to begin where the Scripture begins, with yourselves. We must first get strong within, and after that put on the whole armor which God has provided for the good soldiers of Jesus Christ. Our Lord Himself has left us the pattern, for He first overcame the devil in the wilderness for His own sake, as it is written in Matthew and Mark and Luke, and then He overcame the world, the flesh and the devil for the sake of the world, having said, Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Your illustration is apt, for as in the natural so in the spiritual, we must first have the provision ourselves before we can effectually help others.

Let us therefore pray as you have asked, according to Ephesians 6:10 to 20, applied by faith, even as we receive salvation by grace through faith and not of ourselves, and as we receive answered prayer when we ask in faith nothing wavering.

We pray, O Father, gird our waists with truth. Let us know the truth not only in the letter, but in the power of it, as we have tasted and handled the Word of Life. Put upon us the breastplate of righteousness, even the righteousness of Christ imputed to us, that being reconciled to You by the death of Your Son we may stand without fear of condemnation. Shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, that knowing our sins are forgiven for Christ's name's sake we may walk as joyful pilgrims and stand firm as warriors, and may be ready to carry that same peace to others. Above all, give us the shield of faith, whereby we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Cover us with the helmet of salvation, the sure hope that we are Yours and You will keep us to the end. Put in our hand the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, that we may wield it with holy skill against every wile of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Having prayed this for ourselves, we now with all perseverance make supplication for all saints, being watchful thereunto.

We pray this same armor upon our families, that each household may stand in the evil day. We pray it upon leaders and pastors and evangelists, that utterance may be given unto them, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which some are ambassadors in bonds. We pray it upon Your churches and upon ministry partners and upon each believer, that the whole family in heaven and earth, being one family in Christ, may be kept pure and heavenly and be built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

We pray also for those set in government, that You would grant them wisdom to rule justly, restrain evil, and that You would bring them to the knowledge of salvation which is in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. And we pray even for enemies, as Christ has commanded us, not that You would bless them in their enmity or confirm them in any way contrary to Your Word, but that You would have mercy upon them, bring them to repentance, and turn their hearts to love Your truth, that they also might be reconciled to You.

Teach us to give thanks always for all things unto God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to prove our thanksgiving not only with our lips but with our lives, by obedience to Your commandments and love for Your cause. Make us mighty in intercession, for it is God who writes intercession upon the hearts of His people, and the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends.

Hear us, we beseech You, for Jesus sake, whose blood has pleaded the cause of our souls and redeemed our lives, and grant that having done all, we may stand, to Your glory alone. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
