Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

“Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.

We join you in agreement for this vital prayer for the whole armor of God and we thank you for standing in the gap not only for ourselves and our families but for leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, for our government, and even for our enemies.

We love how you have reminded us that our enemies are indeed opportunities to show our love for Jesus by praying for their salvation, for Jesus said to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matt 5:44, and that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, 2 Tim 2:25-26. This is the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4.

We agree that we are not unaware of the enemy's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, and that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. Therefore we must submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7, and resist him steadfast in our faith, 1 Pet 5:9, clothed in the authority given to us in the name of Jesus, John 14:13-14, and in His Word which will never pass away, Matt 24:35, and in His position far above all rule and authority, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9.

We take to heart your beautiful illustration of the oxygen mask. We must first be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might ourselves before we can effectively intercede for others, and Christ Himself modeled this when He overcame the devil in the wilderness, Matt 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13, and then overcame the world for our sake, John 16:33. By faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, and we receive all things from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6, by faith.

So together we pray and put on Your armor by faith, Father. We pray over ourselves first and then over our families, our pastors and evangelists, our churches and ministry partners, over all the saints, over those in government, and even over those who consider themselves our enemies that they would come to salvation in Jesus.

Father, thank You for Your Word and for Your Holy Spirit who teaches us all things, John 14:26, and for Your Scripture which is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16. We put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Eph 6:11. We stand having girded our waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, Eph 6:14-15. Above all we take up the shield of faith with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, Eph 6:16. We take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, Eph 6:17. We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints, Eph 6:18.

And Father we ask for utterance to be given to Your people that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News, for which we are ambassadors, that we may speak boldly as we ought to speak, Eph 6:19-20. Let the weapons of our warfare not be of the flesh but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Cor 10:4. Build Your church, Lord, and let the gates of hell not prevail against it, Matt 16:18.

We thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne only through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that whatever we ask in His name You will do, John 14:14. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, believing that without faith it is impossible to please You, for he who comes to God must believe that You exist and that You are a rewarder of those who seek You, Heb 11:6. We were encouraged to read your prayer covering so many with care, starting with yourself and your family and reaching out to pastors, churches, ministry partners, leaders in government, and even those you see as enemies. That breadth shows real love and obedience to pray for all people.

We hear how seriously you take standing firm and staying watchful, and how you want to put on what God has provided each day and to speak the gospel with boldness. That kind of daily faithfulness is more like training over time than a single moment of trying hard. Small, steady steps of prayer and staying in the Word shape us gradually.

One simple way to keep this from feeling overwhelming is to keep your pattern but give each day a focused group. Perhaps Monday for family, Tuesday for your church and pastors, Wednesday for government and community, and so on, while still remembering all in a brief way each morning. It keeps the burden light and the prayer consistent.

Father, thank You for this brother or sister who seeks to stand firm and to love well. Strengthen them and their family, guard their hearts and minds, give wisdom to leaders and pastors they lift up, and give them clear and gracious words to share Your good news. Help them rest in Your strength today. In Jesus name, amen.

It is a needful and scriptural prayer you have laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace.

We give thanks that the God who hears prayer is enthroned and glorified, and that Grace reigns supreme at the place where God meets with us in prayer. Whenever the Spirit of God inclines the heart to pray, the ear of God is open to hear and the mouth of God is open to grant gracious answers of peace. Therefore we come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, and we come unreservedly with all sorts of petitions as the Spirit moves us.

Father, we thank You for the Word and for the Holy Spirit who instructs us, that we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods. We submit ourselves to You, and in the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith in His Word and in His exalted position at Your right hand, we resist the devil, resisting him firmly in the faith, trusting Your promise that he will flee from us.

We take up the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, remembering that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. We pray this first over ourselves, as our Lord Himself overcame the tempter in the wilderness before He went forth to overcome for others, and then we pray it for all whom You have placed upon our hearts.

We ask that You gird us and our families with truth, that we may love Your truth and walk in it. Put upon us the breastplate of righteousness, even the righteousness of Christ imputed to us and imparted by Your Spirit, that our hearts may be kept from accusation and sin. We pray this same armor over our leaders, pastors and evangelists, over every household of faith, over churches and ministry partners, and over all believers, that the Church of the living God, which is the pillar and ground of the truth, may stand holy and steadfast, having done all, to stand. Let her be kept in holiness, which is conformity to Your will and character, and let her know Your favor in hill and in valley, for You are God in both.

We pray also for those in government, and even for those who count themselves our enemies. We do not ask You to bless what is contrary to Your holy will, but we pray as You command, that You would show mercy to sinners and grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. Grant that they may receive Christ, for as many as receive Him, to them You give power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

And for the saints we pray with all perseverance and supplication in the Spirit, that utterance may be given unto Your people, that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which we are ambassadors. Let us speak as we ought to speak, with love and with holy boldness, to every sort of sinner and in every place.

Hear us, O God of grace upon the throne of grace, and perfect in us that imitation of You which springs from being Your dear children, born not of blood nor of the will of man, but of God. Let the Spirit of holiness fill us and teach us, that more of You may be seen in us.
