Are you suffering? I want to help. Whatever you are going through, I want to help. Are you homeless, sick, being tormented by devils, being abused, depressed, loneliness, have no food or drink. Whatever the case may be that you are suffering, I want to help. Just know that if I ever meet you in person, I will help you! I believe not only in having faith, but also in good works to minister to others. With that said let me pray for YOU. Father in heaven, and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Ghost, I ask for those who are suffering right NOW. Whatever their trial may be right NOW, I know that You are greater than all things that we face in life. May You meet every need as they seek Your kingdom, and righteousness first. If I may cross paths with anyone on here, then Lord may You use me to minister to them spiritually, and physically, and t show the true love of the Lord Jesus Christ! In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your heart of compassion and your desire to minister to those who are suffering, and we join with you in lifting up those in need before our Heavenly Father. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the love of Christ, who came not only to save us but to serve and meet us in our deepest struggles. The Word tells us in James 2:14-17, "What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, and one of you tells them, 'Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;' yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself." Your willingness to act on your faith is commendable and aligns with the heart of God.

We also want to encourage you, and those reading, to remember that our ultimate help comes from the Lord. Psalm 46:1 declares, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." While we are called to minister to one another in love, we must never forget that it is God who sustains, heals, and provides. He often uses His people as vessels, but the power and provision flow from Him alone.

For those who are suffering, whether from homelessness, sickness, spiritual oppression, abuse, depression, loneliness, or hunger, we want you to know that God sees you. He hears your cries, and He cares deeply for you. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." This is an invitation to lay your burdens at His feet and trust Him to carry you through. We also want to gently remind you that true help and salvation come through Jesus Christ alone. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for those who are suffering. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would meet every need, physical, emotional, and spiritual, of those who are hurting right now. Lord, for those who are homeless, provide shelter and safety. For those who are sick, bring healing and comfort. For those tormented by spiritual oppression, break every chain and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. For those who are abused, be their refuge and their strength, and bring justice and restoration. For those who are depressed or lonely, remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). For those who are hungry or thirsty, provide for their needs and let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8).

Father, we also pray for our brother who has shared this message. Use him mightily to be Your hands and feet in this world. Give him wisdom, discernment, and opportunities to minister to those in need. Let his life be a living testimony of Your love and grace. Lord, we ask that You would raise up more believers who are willing to step out in faith and serve others as Christ served us. May Your love be evident in all that we do, and may the lost come to know You through our actions and our words.

We rebuke every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen those who are weak, lift up those who are downtrodden, and fill every empty place with Your peace and presence.

Lord, we also pray for those who may be reading this and have not yet surrendered their lives to You. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and the hope that is found only in Jesus Christ.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

To those who are suffering, we encourage you to seek out a local church or a community of believers who can walk alongside you. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are stronger together. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please reach out to local authorities or organizations equipped to assist you. You are not alone, and there is hope in Christ. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We hear such a ready, generous heart in your words, and we are moved by the way you are already asking God to use you, spiritually and physically, to meet the real needs of people who are hurting. That is a beautiful thing, and it reflects the kind of compassion that Jesus Himself walked in so tenderly.

Because you long to move from prayer to practical good works, one of the most grounding things you can do right now is simply to look around your own community and begin with what is already near. Most local churches already have pathways into exactly the kinds of suffering you named: food pantries for those who are hungry, teams that visit the sick and lonely, ministries to those without shelter, or simple lay pastoral care where someone sits with the grieving or troubled. Plugging into something steady, even while you remain open to spontaneous moments of help, often lets that desire to serve take root without burning out. And you don't need to have all the answers. Some of the most powerful ministry happens when we simply show up, stay quiet, and let someone else’s pain be met with unhurried presence.

We are joining you in that prayer you already prayed, and asking Jesus to lead you into the very encounters He has prepared.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this willing heart. Keep shaping this desire into wisdom and action. Open doors for real, tangible service where the need is greatest and where the love of Christ can be seen and felt. Grant discernment, protection, and the kind of listening ear that offers comfort before advice. And in every meeting, may the one who receives help find dignity, hope, and a true taste of Your kindness. In Your name, Amen.

The zeal to relieve temporal suffering is commendable, for faith without works is dead, yet take heed that the wellspring of all true help is love to Christ Himself. Christ loves His church specially, with a love of choice and complacency, and it is from that fountain that all our love to others must flow. When we really come to love Him, we are willing to do or to suffer anything for His dear sake. His love makes the burden light and the yoke easy. But many who rush to do good works have not first sat at His feet to remember His love, the fact of it, the character of it, that love which was before the foundation of the world. If you will remember Christ’s love, you will be lifted up from your crookedness and made straight, and your service will be acceptable.

There is a danger in your generous offer, for you say, “I want to help,” and “I will help you,” as though the power resided in your own hand. Does a man come with a Divine message to my soul? I will try him by this test: Does he lift up Christ? Does he draw me to trust in Christ? If you would truly minister, you must be awake, awake to your own weakness, your own utter valuelessness, for then you will see Christ’s glory and His power to save. You speak of tormenting devils and deep depression; such miseries are not cast out by human sympathy alone, but by the name of Jesus, before which every knee must bow. You are but the vessel; He is the treasure.

And consider the love of which you would be a channel. To hear of the love of God is sweet, to believe it most precious, but to enjoy it is Paradise below the skies. That love gave its only Son, a gift which reaches its climax at the Cross. Are you so awake to that love as to know that it is personal, that Christ loved you, and gave Himself for you, before you can give anything to another? God desires to have your whole heart, and if He did not love you very much, He would not care so much about your love towards Him. Return to your first love, and then your works will follow, born of the Divine Trinity’s help. When the Trinity comes in, all thought of difficulty vanishes.

Therefore, let your prayer be this: that you and those who suffer may first look to Christ, for to lift Him up is the Spirit’s work. Cheerfully accept any contempt that may follow, taking it as tribute to likeness to Christ. And know that the deepest help you can offer a poor sinner is to say, “We will remember Your love,” and point to the God whose Fatherhood holds all power equal to His love. Go, then, and minister, but as one who has heard the voice from the cloud: “Hear Him.” It is better to hear the Son of God than to see saints or to build tabernacles of our own good intentions. This will please the Father more than all else that love can suggest.

Your prayer reveals a heart aflame with love, and this is truly from God. To desire not only to pray but to stretch out your hands in good works is to walk in the footsteps of the Master, who went about doing good. Yet let us take care that this zeal be guided by wisdom. For tell me, can you, of your own strength, meet every need? The servant who begged delay of his debt was shown a mercy far beyond his asking when the lord forgave him the whole sum. So too, when we would help, we must rely not on our own resources but on the boundless compassion of God. The help that saves is not bread alone, nor even deliverance from torment, but the light yoke of Christ. Learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly of heart, and only in His service do souls find true rest.

Do you wish to minister to the suffering? Then clothe yourself with long-suffering. For nothing, truly nothing is so impenetrable as a soul armed with patience. You name armies, money, walls, but all these are weaker than long-suffering. When those you would aid provoke you, or their deliverance delays, or your own strength fails, that is the moment to show the love that is not easily provoked, that thinketh no evil. Love sits in the soul like a husbandman, suffering no thorn of pride or impatience to spring up. For many begin with compassion, but when trials come, they grow weary; they become men-pleasers, acting not from the heart as to Christ but with eye-service. But the servant of Christ does the will of God from the heart, with good will, as serving the Lord and not men. Do good then, not that you may be seen, but that the Father who sees in secret may reward you.

Remember above all that the Captain of our salvation was made perfect through sufferings. He suffered without the gate, bearing our reproach. If you would truly help those who suffer, you must be willing to go forth with them outside the camp, bearing their burdens as your own. This is the fellowship of His sufferings. When you weep with those who weep, when you share in the afflictions of others as though they were your own, then you are not merely giving alms but communing in the Spirit. And this is a mighty comfort: not only to speak words of pity, but to take the yoke upon yourself, to stand alongside them in the furnace, trusting that the Lord who has mercy on whom He will have mercy will bring about a weight of glory beyond all comparison.

Do not therefore cease praying, for you help together by prayer. Yet as you pray, prepare your soul. You ask to be used; then be ready to be spent, even as the Apostle was poured out. Let your compassion be as a father’s heart for a child, forbearing and forgiving, even as Christ forgave you. For if you remember the ten thousand talents you yourself were loosed, you will not grow harsh toward those who owe a hundred pence. True ministry is not merely giving help, but becoming a companion of the suffering, and thus pointing them to Him who suffered for us all.
