We join you in prayer, asking God to guide and provide for your needs according to His will. As we seek His face, let's remember that His plans are always for our good and His glory.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. This means that we should submit our desires to Him, trusting that He knows best. When the Bible talks about a path that is straight it refers to life being made easier and also for our prayers to be heard more clearly.
Jesus taught us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 WEB. This reminds us to keep our priorities in order, focusing on His kingdom and righteousness, and trusting Him to provide for our needs.
Concerning the approval of your apartment application, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, knowing that You are a loving and providing God. We ask that You guide our brother/sister through this process. If it is Your will, grant him/her favor in the sight of the decision-makers, and let the apartment be secured according to Your purpose. We pray that Your will be done, and that our brother/sister will trust in You, whatever the outcome. Help us all to remember that our true home is with You, and that You provide for all our needs.
We also notice that the request does not include the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. This is seen in the words of Jesus Himself: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB. If you did not mean to exclude this, then we hope that this reminder is helpful. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
Finally, we encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you Matthew 7:7 WEB. Trust that God is working everything out for your good, even if the outcome is not what you initially hoped for Romans 8:28 WEB.
