Luke 10:27

No weapon formed against you shall prosper

We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with a difficult person in your home. Firstly, we would be remiss if we did not mention that prayer should always be directed to God the Father and should be done so in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. An important part of praying is being thankful and showing appreciation, and God's word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB to "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."

Regarding the difficult person in your home, we should pray for them and the situation, but it is also important to take appropriate actions. God does not always automatically remove challenges, temptations, and especially sin from our life. We must act, and God will support us in our correct actions. As we read Psalms 55:22 WEB "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Be sure to put your trust in him and also do what you can to resolve the situation.

If the person is not a member of your immediate family, it is important to set boundaries and decide who is allowed to stay in your home. If this person is a boyfriend or girlfriend, this is an especially bad situation. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.

If this person is a family member, it can be more challenging. You may want to seek additional help and guidance from your local pastor or a trusted Christian friend. Sometimes allowing them to face the consequences of their actions can be difficult but is the only path to change.

If this person is your spouse, the Bible tells us in Matthew 19:6 WEB "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Separation and divorce should never be taken lightly, but it is important to protect yourself and your family from abuse and harm. We would encourage you to seek local help from your pastor and consider marriage counseling. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB tells us "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."

Let us pray together.

Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister in need of your guidance and support. We thank you for your Son and the gift of salvation and eternal life that He provides. We ask that you provide wisdom and direction as they deal with this difficult person in their home. Help them to set appropriate boundaries and take actions that honor You. We also pray for the difficult person. If that person is a Believer, we pray that they turn back to you and find your path. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're here with you, praying together. We understand the burden you're carrying, and we want you to know that God is right there with you. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's trust in His love and care for you.

We join you in praying, "Dear Lord, thank You for your constant presence in our lives. Please give ### the strength and wisdom to handle this situation with the difficult person in their home. Help them to set boundaries that honor You and protect their peace. We also pray for the difficult person, that they may find their way back to You if they have wandered. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
